How to Team-Build With the New Incentives

>> >> Kjersti: Well good morning everyone and welcome to our Saturday morning business training with Isagenix International. My name is Kjersti Coty your host. It is September 12th, 2009 and boy oh boy I hope everybody’s gearing up for fall, the holidays. There’s so much exciting stuff going on. I know that many of you on the line might be brand new to Isagenix or may be brand new to Isagenix and of course I really feel that there has been no better time to join Isagenix than right now. With everything that’s going on, all of the excitement within our industry, within our own company and of course this morning’s call is all about how to team build with the new incentives that were just launched last month in August at our annual celebration. So we’re very excited to give you a plan of action and of course here with us this morning is Rick Despain, he is our Vice President of Field Relations and Communications. We’re very excited to have him on the line as he has a very special part in Isagenix when it comes to helping to plan for the future of Isagenix, helping to lead the field and to share the word from corporate so we’re going to go through all of the little tidbits of information when it comes to the new incentives but really how to incorporate these new incentives to create a lot of action going on in your team so we’re very excited. Let me introduce Rick to everybody. As I had said before Rick Despain is our VP of Field Relations and Communications and he joined our corporate team back in July of 2004. He was the lead on helping to develop, excuse me, our Compliance Department as well as our Marketing Department. When he joined Isagenix he brought to the table a tremendous amount of experience and we’re talking a quarter of a century experience in strategic marketing and communications. About 20 years of experience in direct sales and network marketing. He helped different start-up companies grow from $0 to $100 million dollars in annual sales. He helped a Chicago company double its sales and of course Isagenix now he’s helped sales grow 5-10 times what they were when he first joined. He is totally committed in helping Jim and Kathy Coover [assumed spelling] help to guide this company and each little areas and, of course, to help all of you out in the field with your success so we are very grateful for Rick, all that he does for Isagenix and might I say too, he has a beautiful wife Susie, they have 6 full grown children, I think there’s 1 maybe still in the house, I’m not sure on that one, but he is also a grandfather to 7 grandchildren so with that Rick, it’s always a pleasure having you on, good morning and welcome to call.

>> Rick: Well good morning Kjersti. Thank you for the nice introduction. I welcome everyone to the call also, there’s so many exciting things to talk about on this call. As we go over the announcements that were shared at the celebration and Kjersti you set this up perfectly and, you know, there are so many bonuses and incentives that were announced at the celebration. They were also announced at our celebration blitz meetings on August 22nd and now we have US Tour and the Canada Fall Tour going on right now to share even more of this and one of the things that I want to do on this call which is a little bit different than what you were hearing at the events, is the events. And especially what we announced at the celebration we gave information. This is what the new auto-ship rewards program is. Here are the new incentives. Here are the new bonuses and that’s fine, everyone gets excited and saying yeah, there’s so much more money on the table, it’s wonderful for a 7 year old company like Isagenix to, you know, to add these incentives to the promotions like it’s a new addition to the comp plan and it’s just exciting. But I want to talk about on this call is now how do you take these incentives and actually build your team with them. How do you motivate people to take action to impact their lives, of course, to have more energy and to lose weight and to feel better? To do all that, and use these incentives to motivate them to build their teams and to build your team. So that’s what I want to talk specifically about on this call. How do you build your team with these incentives? Now with that I want to break it up into a couple things. There’s so many announcements and things that we have sent out with our E-news and I encourage you to, you know, digest everything you can. Watch the E-news, we’ll go into your back office, learn everything you can because about these bonuses and incentives because there’s a few maps out there, you know, how to progress and everything and but I want to break it into just 2 easy ways now. Let’s talk about first in using these new incentives, the new auto-ship rewards program we have actually helps people to save money first. So let’s talk about saving money and then we’ll move into earning money. Well the first way that you save money is when you enroll in Isagenix and you enroll on auto-ship then you receive the lowest price on the packs and the systems and, you know, and we call that auto-ship rewards pricing. That gets you the best price and how you can build with that is when you’re signing someone up, enrolling them and let’s say that you, you know, choose to help your person come in with a 30-day program or cleansing, fat burning system. Well retail that’s $360 and if they just want to do this one time and check it out. I would suggest doing it, you know, enrolling them in retail and take advantage of this but if you’d like to save some money and become an associate and you can get the wholesale price and that is $299. So you can save, you know, $60 there and, but if you want to give a long-term commitment and really commit to your health, then we can offer you the auto-ship rewards pricing and that’s when you enroll in auto-ship you know more products are coming, you know, each month and then you can enroll with the 30-day program for $260 and save $39 right there. Well that’s how you can build with that. Help people get a long-term view. Oh geez, $360 retail, $299 wholesale, get involved with Isagenix but really commit, I can save another $39 and go right into my 30-day program at $260 and that is an incentive for people to look long-term. So that’s the first thing, you save money and you can build your team with that. Also on your initial purchase, you can save up to 5 percent on individual products. For example, like IsaFruits or like Isamune, you know, Kjersti you were talking about hey the fall is here, it’s allergy season and cold and flu, you know, season and one of the things to do is have additional products, you know, antioxidants and Isomune, things like that. Well you can buy those products in your initial order when you enroll and get an additional 5 percent off those non-pack products and what I mean by non-pack is they’re not in, you know, not in our system packs. So there’s 2 ways you can save money and another thing that you can do, for example, Kjersti, when you enrolled, how much did it cost you to enroll in Isagenix when you first started?

>> Kjersti: Oh my goodness, well I enrolled in 2007 and I think the memberships were $36 if I’m not mistaken. So that was like 7 years ago, isn’t that something and then it went to $49, now it’s to $39 and I know where you’re going with this because this is quite cool and so 7 years ago I enrolled for $36.

>> Rick: Because you enrolled in auto-ship. It was $49 without being on auto-ship so you could save $13 and we had that two-tier system going for quite a while and it actually helped to create an incentive. We’ve done that again. We, you know, over the past couple years we’ve had a, you know, $39 enrollment fee and then of course just a few months ago we had a promotion where you could enroll for free when you enrolled on an auto-ship. And right now how this works because we’re talking about saving money here, is that you can enroll in Isagenix, enroll team members and when they enroll on auto-ship they save $20. Instead of $39, they save $20, it goes down to $19. So by enrolling with a minimum of 100BV and enrolling on auto-ship they can save $20 right there. So those are the first things that can happen right out, you know, right in the enrollment process. You can get the lowest price on the tax. You save up to 5 percent on additional products that you want to order. You save $20 on your enrollment fee and then something happens which is extraordinary. This is the first time I’ve seen any company do it. Isagenix is, you know, 7 years old and we have now done it. It just shows as we mature and as we get larger and more successful we can do this, this is just amazing, is that when you enroll in auto-ship now, right out of the get go, then in your, in your position, in your Associate position you will now start to bank volume. You can see the volume right in your back office. Now previously in order to do this, in order to bank volume you needed to be paid as Consultant. A Consultant, have a person on the left and a person on the right and when you had that structured you could start to bank volume. Now we want to incentivize and motivate more people not only to take control of their health but start doing something to be rewarded for influencing others and so now you can see that volume that is starting to bank just by being on auto-ship. Now let me be clear, you still won’t be paid on that volume until you become a Consultant but you’ll be able to start seeing and our system will bank it or accumulate that volume. That’s a huge deal, that is tremendous. I’ve never seen a company do this so this is just exciting and then there’s one other thing to help you save money. Just by being on auto-ship, and that is by being on auto-ship then you can qualify to be, to qualify for our health care benefits. Now on this call, I’m not going to go over all those benefits but we do have a group limited medical healthcare benefit that you can qualify for by being on auto-ship and creating one cycle in our plan, in our compensation plan, then you qualify to be part of the Isagenix Group where you can receive health care benefits at a reduced price because it’s a group rate and that’s extraordinary. Just think about how you could build your team, especially for people who are self-employed or who want to do Isagenix as a self-employment business and really want to go after it as a career and then they say something like this, well I would love to do this but I need to continue to hold a job, you know, the J-O-B in order to get health care benefits. Now you can say well take, check into the healthcare benefits that we have when you qualify by being on auto-ship, becoming a Consultant and generating an income, generating a cycle and then you qualify for our healthcare benefits and you can do this and be self-employed. Well that just erases one of those objections that some of us have received, and it also helps you to build because they want to have those benefits and it’s such a good price and I’ve, you know, I’ve gone through all the details and everything, it’s amazing. The other thing that that does is for when you have team members that come on your team, it helps retention because when they get on your team and if they’re thinking about well I’m going to drop off auto-ship here eventually, no I’m going to stay on auto-ship because that qualifies me for those health insurance benefits. I get on that plan. I want that at a very good price, then I will continue to be on auto-ship and take these amazing products and I can also get the discount by being on this group healthcare. So this, I mean, it’s just the beginning of how you can start building your team by helping them save money. Now we’ve talked about the save money part, now let’s go over to the earn money part because this is exciting also. In fact, for a lot of us it’s even more exciting. Why not be rewarded for impacting behavior of our friends and associates and family and help them to enjoy better health and be rewarded for it. So the first thing the company does is they want to reward you and of course we have a wonder comp plan with product introductory bonuses, which we call PIVs for the initial product purchase and, of course, our team cycles that are generated by having one on the left and one on the right become a Consultant and then you start generating those commissions. But this is what the company has done which we announced in, at our celebration that is, I call it a game changer. This actually has, changes the game in the network marketing industry. We have reinvented the company so to speak so that we can reinvent your future. If you can just bare with me here because I’ve been in this industry for 19 years. I’ve been with Isagenix for 5, you know, as an employee. My wife has been an associate for 6 years in Isagenix and I’ve seen a lot of things, a lot of comp plans, a lot of little whiz-bang [assumed spelling] additions and stuff like that come and go over 19 years. What Isagenix announced at our celebration knocked my socks off and as I explain this I hope it knocks your socks off. In fact, if I do my job right you’ll have a hard time sleeping tonight when you see just how many benefits and bonuses we announced to help you build your team. So let’s look at this, let’s make it. I’m going to bring this down so it’s very easy for you to understand. Let’s look at these new auto-ship rewards bonuses and incentives as if you were enjoying a nice layer cake. And what, you know, just imagine layer cake, now of course we’re a cleansing company, nutritional cleansing so of course this layer cake is very low fat, very low sugar but it’s still scrumptious, it’s still delicious. And as you go into each layer of this cake, there’s a little layer of frosting or filling in the middle and you enjoy that and then you go to the next layer and then there’s some more frosting and you go to the next layer and there’s more frosting. Think of it that way because what we are doing now is motivating and incentivizing people to go through each layer. Let’s start at the Consultant level. You enroll someone on your left and someone on your right and you become a Consultant. When you generate a team cycle in our compensation plan, that triggers a bonus with Isagenix now. This is what we announced at the celebration and it is the Consultant Bonus. You become a Consultant. When you sign those 2 people up of course you get the PIV’s, the product introductory bonus and when you generate a cycle you receive that. You receive a recognition pin that you’re a Consultant and, you know, we say congratulations and now we send you a $50 bonus for creating that structure. Well you went through that layer and you got a little bit of frosting, that’s, you know, that tastes pretty good and now we have another little incentive to help you develop Consultants. We now have a Consultant Development Bonus, an advancement bonus that when you help 2 people become Consultants then the company will give you some frosting, you know, in other words, a $25 bonus for each one. You become a Consultant, have one on the left, one on the right. Now you help them become Consultants, so they develop their two, one on the left and one on the right and when they generate their team cycle, then they receive that $50 Consultant Bonus but guess what, you as the enrolling sponsor receive, you receive $25 for each one. All right. So you’ve received a $50 Consultant Bonus and now you’ve developed 2 Consultants. You receive $25 for each one and that’s another $50 so just developing that structure you’ve enjoyed all the PIVs, the cycles and $100 now in bonuses. Ok, you went through that layer. Now Kjersti, this is where it gets interesting and I want to ask you something. You know when you became a Consultant and you had your person on the left and person on the right. What if someone would have come to you because you’ve been in the company for 7 years and we just announced it now, we didn’t have this before, but what if I came to you and said Kjersti, you know, you’re now a Consultant, you’ve developed 2 Consultants. You have 2 people now that are Consultants, how would you like to become a Star Consultant? Now recognition-wise that sounds really good, right, but what if I told you there was a $500 bonus waiting for you to develop 5 Consultants. You already have 2 so for developing 3 more Consultants the company will send you, you know, go through that layer, you get some more frosting, then the company will send you a $500 check. Now how would that change or incentivize your team building.

>> Kristi: Well, in putting myself in that situation that would be phenomenal because the first thing that would come to mind was a car payment, you know, insurance, you know, fun money, I like to call it fun money. I mean instantaneously and especially knowing like if I just want Consultants to be able to help 5 other people do the same thing that I did, I would definitely know that that’s an attainable thing to achieve, you know, an attainable goal and I would be really, really excited. $500 is a lot of money.

>> Rick: Ok and thank you. Can I lead you into this a little bit further, alright.

>> Kjersti: Thanks.

>> Rick: In other words, in team building as we build teams, we talk about building to events, having, you know, inspiring people, inviting them to come to an event, you know, go to an event like you were up, you know, that blitz meeting in Quarterlane or come down to an ICU or, you know, just as simple as connecting with someone and having them watch the new Transform Your Life video on the website at isamovie.com and I want to get down to this is that you’re a Consultant, you already have 2 Consultants, you’ve enjoyed this first bonus, there’s $500 waiting for you for talking with 3 more people, developing 3 more Consultants. Well if you were to divide $500 by 3, you know, that’s about what, $160, guess what I have a calculator here, how about that, let’s do this, so $500 divided by 3 equals $166, ok and so let me put it this way. Is it worth to you, Kjersti, is it worth $166 to make a phone call and invite someone to a meeting?

>> Kjersti: Absolutely.

>> Rick: You probably never thought of it that way before, did you? How about?

>> Kjersti: But if you think about it Rick, and you think about $160 some dollars to do that, if you were, if you, for you to pick up the phone and to invite an individual, even spending time on the phone, just a little bit of time, maybe putting them to isamovie.com, inviting them to a meeting and them signing up. Let’s say if you invest 1 hour of your time in doing all of that, that’s some big bucks per hour. If you break it down by what you would be bringing in per hour per person, whew, that’s a lot of money.

>> Rick: But yeah, but let me put it this way. What if you had to talk to 10 people to get that 1 person to, and by the way, most people when they talk to their friends and family, usually will have someone, you know, they’ll talk to 3, right. They’ll talk to 3 and they’ll get someone enrolled. I think that’s, but even if it was 1 out of 10, you call 10 people to get them to a meeting and 1, you know, 1 person out of those 10 came and actually enrolled and became your next Consultant, that’s still if you divide $166 by 10 that’s still $16 per phone call to invite them.

>> Kjersti: It’s amazing.

>> Rick: Ever thought of it that way. Is it worth $16 to me to call up someone and just invite them? They can say yes or no, it doesn’t matter but, you know, you talk to 10 people and you get that 1 person there that becomes the Consultant and it gets you one step closer to becoming a Star Consultant, it’s as if it was worth $16 per phone call. Now if you made 10 phone calls an hour, that’s pretty good money right, if you want to look at it that way. And that’s what I want people to think about, they’re building a team, they’re being rewarded for it and so Kjersti you go out and you do this, you invite people to a meeting, you invite people to home presentations, you make appointments up on the internet to watch isamovie.com and you do this and you development 3 more Consultants and you now become a Star Consultant. In the past we said congratulations as a company and we sent you out a nice Star Consultant pin but today after all these announcements, we also send you a $500 check, congratulations. This is neat.

>> Kjersti: That’s amazing, it’s amazing Rick and you know the thing is, is that what really excites me is because the company is willing to reward me $500 to be able to take my first 5 Consultants and help them go Star, knowing that I did it. I just did it. Let me show you exactly what I did. I found 5 people, I helped them to go, you know, to find their people, help them to make their list, guided, directed, you know, coached them through and it was easy. I was able to do this. You can do it too and to have 5 people each earn $500 in going Star Consultant is, I think, is so inspiring because Rick that’s a lot of people in your organization. You know, if you’re bringing in 5 people who each enroll 2 a piece to go Consultant, you know, I mean, what is that, that’s 5, 10, that’s 15 people in your organization just with you going Star and if each of those 5 did the same, whew, that’s a lot of people in your organization in a very short period of time and each one of those 5, you know, that you’ve personally brought in, coached through for them to see them get that $500 bonus is really, really exciting and that’s a lot of money paid out to your team.

>> Rick: And all we’re talking about is someone redirect their food budget, eat better food, cleanse and have the IsoLean shakes, redirect that food budget and feel better, lose weight, have more energy, take control of their health and be rewarded for it. Now let me help you understand just how impactful this is. You’re hitting it right on the head. Kjersti, I want to teach you and everyone that’s listening to this call. I want you to see the magic of what happens when you become a professional carrot dangler. Now think about that, you’re going to become a professional carrot dangler, you’re going to dangle the carrot, ok. This is what I want you to do, I want you to grab a piece of paper Kjersti, ok, and everyone listening to this call, grab a piece of paper and over the last 7 years the company, and we’re very successful, over the last 7 years we have built this company on a 2 X 2, each person go out and get 2 and you become a Consultant then you help build that structure and look at all the millionaires we have created. There’s 38, 37 millionaires right now and, you know, we have 250,000 at the point of this recording, 250,000 people on Isagenix. We have had so much success over 7 years and we built this company 2 X 2, you know, 2 will go out and get 2. So Kjersti do me a favor and everyone on the call just grab a piece of paper and write down 6 levels, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and then let’s do a 2 X 2 progression, 2 come in, I mean, you know, this is network marketing 101. Two go out and get 2 people, then you have 4 on the second level and then those 4 get 2, there’s 8 on your third level, and then it’s 16 on your fourth level, what is it on the fifth level, 32? And then the sixth level, what is it Kjersti?

>> Kjersti: 64.

>> Rick: 64 all right. Just 6 levels down right, 64 and so you go out and you say alright I’m going to go for that Consultant Rank Advancement Bonus. I want my $50 and I’m going to help everyone on my team do this well by the time you’re at the sixth level you have 64 people on your team, right, well 64 on that level, you actually add them up to be more on your team but all those people going down are getting $50 bonus. Now if you get good at being a carrot dangler and what I mean by that, you say to your new associate, you know, your new Consultant, Kjersti, you know, you’ve just done this, you’ve developed your Consultant, that’s great. I’m going to dangle this $500 carrot, I’m just going to show you how you can earn $500 to become a Star Consultant and go develop 5 Consultants on your team. And besides the $500 you’re also going to receive a Consultant Development Bonus of $25 for each Consultant that you develop, so 5 times $25 is $125, and so it’s not $500, it’s actually $625, oh by the way, you’ll receive PIVs for each Consultant that you personally enroll, that’s a minimum of at least $10, it could be 25 for a 30-day program or $80 for a [inaudible] pack, but at least 10, so let’s just say 10 for the initial PIV so there’s $50 now you’re at $675, oh yes, by the way, and there’s team cycles generated so you dangled that carrot and said this is what’s waiting for you, $500 plus $125 plus the PIVs and all that, see where I’m going. Now you dangle that carrot and say now let’s become a Star Consultant, I’m going to help you find those other 3 people and let’s become a Star Consultant. So you get them there and they say wow this is great. I went through this layer. I got all the frosting. This is fun and they receive all the money and then, exactly, you know what’s going to happen. They’re going to say well I want to do this too. I want to help my team do the same thing and so they, instead of going out and finding 2 people, they’re going to go out and find 2 people to start, but they’ll continue until they have their team of 5. Now what happens with a 5 X 5 progression? So on that same piece of paper Kjersti write down 5 on the first level and then all those 5 are doing the same thing too, they’re professional carrot danglers and they dangle the carrot and they want their people to be there too and again this is just for illustrative purposes. We know that not everyone will do this but you incentivize it, there’s a very good chance, very good opportunity for them to do that. So let’s just say they did it. So you have 5 people go out and do the same thing you did. Now those 5 times 5 what’s on your second level, 25? Right. And then they do the same thing, so what’s on the third level, Kjersti?

>> Kjersti: Times 5 is 125.

>> Rick: That’s right, that’s 125 but look across at the 2, what’s on, how many people do you have on your team on the third level when you’re doing 2?

>> Kjersti: There’s going to be 8 people on the third level.

>> Rick: So, 8 people as opposed to 125 well let’s keep it going down. The next level 125 times 5 is 625, then the next level is 625 times 5, that’s 3,125, the next level is 3,125 times 5 is 15,625.

>> Kjersti: Oh my goodness.

>> Rick: You can have 64 on your team or you can 15,625 on your team and the difference is you become a professional carrot dangler.

[ Laughter ] See where I’m going.

>> Kjersti: Yeah, that’s the power of numbers. It’s amazing. It’s amazing to see the difference and really there’s not.

>> Rick: Dangle the carrot at $500, that’s what does it. Go ahead Kjersti.

>> Kjersti: Well I was just going to say, you know, if you’re going to put forth the effort of getting 2, why not get 5. It’s, you know, I think everybody knows of 5 people who need what we have. You know, there’s how many millions upon millions of people that are currently without a job right now because of the recession and so if you take a look at those statistics Rick and you mix that in with the need for cleansing, the need for supplementation, people are sick and tired of being sick and tired. I think everybody knows 5 people that either, you know, that know people that don’t feel well, that need to generate a secondary or even a primary income into their household. I mean these are very real, attainable numbers to accomplish.

>> Rick: Oh, it really is, we see people do it and because there’s lots of Star Consultants in the company and, you know, I took some time to set this up and I know that, you know, not everyone on this call has all day to listen to it so let me kind of fast forward now. I’ve set up that how you can build a team by talking about the layer cake, dangling that carrot and now let’s just kind of move real fast here Kjersti. Just stay with me. Is that now you’ve become a Star Consultant and guess what, that is so awesome, but now there’s another carrot to dangle because the company announced that there is a $1,000 bonus for becoming an Executive and that’s developing 5 more Consultants but guess what if you do it in your first 6 months and you actually become a Crystal Executive, that bonus is increased to $1,500 so now I’ll turn this around to you Kjersti. You’re a brand new Star Consultant, you receive the $500 plus the $125, plus the $50 and then PIVs. You add all this up and it’s great and you go wow this is great and then I say guess what, if you go talk to 5 more, you develop 5 more Consultants, become a Crystal Executive, the company has $1,500 waiting for you. $1,500, you go wow, 5 people divided, you know, into 15, that’s worth $300 per person for me to invite them to a meeting or to get them on a phone call or a three-way phone call or if you get them to go see Isomovie. It’s $1,500 waiting for me. This gets even sweeter. The first one we were talking about $500, now we’re talking about $1,500 to be a Crystal Executive. So you go after it and you do it and you become a Crystal Executive and now you have a team of 10 Consultants and they’re dangling the carrots also because they want to get their team to do it and now you realize what happens when you do a 2 X 2, a 5 X 5 on that same piece of paper, do a 10 X 10, just go 1 more column over on that piece of paper. So you go 10 X 10, so you’re second level is 100. Now that’s a little bit more than 25 on the second level for 5 or even 4 on the second level for 2 and then the third level. What’s 10 times 100, that’s 1,000.

>> Kjersti: 1,000.

>> Rick: And then the next level 10, 1,000 times 10 is 10,000. The next level times 10 is 100,000, the next level is a million. That’s the difference. I mean you can have not hundreds of people in your organization. You can have thousands even to a million by becoming a professional carrot dangler. Here you’ve just become Star Consultant, congratulations, here’s $1,500 that the company has out there waiting for you and so now you have your people going to become a Crystal Executive and when you add up all the bonuses, the $1,500 plus the $500 plus the $50 and 10 times 25, follow me here, 10 times $25 for the Consultant Development Bonus, it all adds up for $2,300 for you to become a Crystal Executive. That’s the bonuses that were announced at the celebration. Talk about some frosting going through each level and when you do that and you get to a Crystal Executive and the company pays you $2,300 plus all the PIVs and the team cycles, you say wow what a business and now guess what, you have a developed a residual income. You have enough people in your group and they’re on auto-ship because by the way this is an auto-ship rewards program. In order to qualify for all these bonuses you need to be on auto- ship. Everyone’s doing it and you happen to have a robust, auto-ship program going into your group. Everyone’s qualifying for the bonuses. You just received $2,300 on bonuses from the company because you’re on auto-ship and you say wow, this is a wonderful company and all they did is reward me for doing what I wanted to do and that was develop a residual income but it doesn’t stop there, wait a minute, there’s more layers, there’s more frosting. Wow. The company says now you’ve done this, now let’s motivate you to develop a residual income of 10 cycles a week, that’s $500 a week by doing that and you become a One Star Golden Circle, you develop that 10 cycles a week and the first week you hit that the company says congratulations here’s a new recognition title, you’re now a One Star Golden Circle, guess what, we now will give you a $1,000 bonus. Congratulations for developing a residual income of $500 a week. You go wow, that’s great but what else is next? Is there another layer? Yes. Well let’s develop a residual income of $1,000 a week, that’s a Two Star Golden Circle or 20 cycles a week, when you hit that level then the company will send you a check for $2,000. You go wow, isn’t that great and then there’s one more level, you know, with these bonuses and that’s to become a Three Star. Now the Three Star’s a magical thing because a Three Star, that’s 40 cycles a week, that’s to develop a residual income of $2,000 a week. Well that’s the six-figure income. So developing a six-figure income with Isagenix, becoming a Three Star Golden Circle, the company will, in that first week that you attain that 40 cycles, the company will send you another check for $3,000. So you add it all up, 3, 2 and 1, that’s 6, plus the 2,300, right, that’s $8,300 in bonuses to go through this layer cake, enjoy all the frosting along the way and when you get to the top you have a six figure income and you’ve made $8,300 in extra bonuses plus all the PIVs. And the team cycles and I have never seen this in network marketing ever before in my life, in my career and that’s why I say when you look at this Isagenix has re-invented itself. You can really invent your future with this just by dangling the carrots and you can have a tremendous time but guess what, it’s not over yet because those are all the layers to get to that structure but along the way the company decided to say let’s reward people for doing 2 behaviors, for enrolling people and developing them into Consultants. Now there was team development and enrolling and so they put together a contest and put it into, we call it the Million Dollar Bonus Pool and the way that you get points in that Million Dollar Bonus Pool is to enroll people. And get them on auto-ship and then help them in rank advancements to become Consultants and Star Consultants and Executives. Wow. So you’re already paying me all this frosting, all these bonuses to do that. And now I can be in a million dollar pool and earn points and the points on that are easy to understand, there’s, we have some things in the back office that you can look at and let me just say this, that by [inaudible]. It’s a six-month program or contest that started in August, August 2nd, actually August 3rd and goes to January 3rd of 2010. So it’s about a six month contest and by enrolling 2 people per month and this is just the minimum to get in there, by enrolling and they’re on auto-ship because we actually, you generate points by their auto-ships. And by advancing 2 people per month to Consultant you will gain enough points to be in this million dollar pool and the million dollar pool is there waiting for you to be in our Top Achiever Event, we will award all the money in that pool so let’s go through the scenario. Ok, on the enrollment side, if you enroll 2 people per month and we actually add up the points of each one when their auto-ship ships and so you do that and you started in August and you go through, you would generate 20 points in enrollments for this contest period. Now on the rank advancements side if you help your people to see this vision, go through the layer cakes, enjoy the frosting. Then and they become Consultants and then we give points for each Consultant so if you develop 2 Consultants each month and you do this for the next, you know, the next 5 months through this contest then well on that one, we actually add, we have a multiplier, we actually multiply that by 3 so that would put you at 30 points and we multiply it by 3, that would get you to 90. Now don’t worry about trying to follow my math. You can actually look at the examples we have in the back office but what I want you to understand is that you’ll, if you do this, you know, this minimum behavior, 2 enrollments per month, 2 Consultant rank advancements or Star, you know, Consultant advancement per month over the next 5 months, you will generate 20 enrollment points and 30 rank advancement points but what we do is we multiple it. The 30 we multiply by 3, then that becomes 90 and then we multiply the 90 by the 20, in the million dollar pool you now have 1800 points but the minimum qualifying for the pool is 1,500 so I just gave you an example just by 2 enrollments a month and 2 rank advancements a month you can get in this pool at 1,800 but Kjersti this is where the fun begins. Let’s say that you did this, you enrolled 2 people a month for the next 5 months and you had 2 rank advancements, 2 Consultants developed each month for the next 5 months, you achieve your 1,800 points and you’re not in the Million Dollar Bonus Pool. At the end of the contest in January we add up all the points and let’s say that we had a million points generated by everyone in Isagenix, well that’s, and we divide that into a million dollars. That means 1 point would equal each dollar so at Top Achievers you would be awarded a check for $1,800. You had 1,800 points, you would a check for $1,800 just by doing what we’re already incentivizing you to do, motivating you with these other bonuses and you go wow, that’s cool. But let’s say that all the people in Isagenix, that we only generate 200,000 points, not a million points but 200,000 points and you have 1,800 points, well we’ll divide 200,000 points into a million so that would give us a value of $5.00 per point and then we’ll times 1,800 by 5 and that will be a $9,000 check. Now it’s starting to get fun. Kjersti how would you like to earn a $9,000 check just for enrolling 2 people a month and helping 2 people become Consultants a month for the next 5 months.

>> Kjersti: Oh my goodness, that would be a blast. I mean and the thing is that while, you know, there’s multiplication involved here, I think Rick that the main key is it is simple to figure out the math as far as how many points you’re bringing in for auto-ship and rank advancements. I do have a question for you though if you don’t mind if I ask right now because this is a question that’s been asked quite frequently.

>> Rick: Go ahead.

>> Kjersti: May I interject here? That would be where are the points tallying? Where is, you know, because people want to see where, how many points they’ve been able to earn so far. Is there a place where they can actually view their points that they’ve earned so far during the contest?

>> Rick: There, our IT department is actually working on that. You will have visibility of those points on your dashboard in your back office. We made the announcement and so a lot of people are just, you know, tallying them by hand right now but we will actually make this visible on your back office as the programming is done. And so yes, it is coming, and just watch your back office and watch our announcements, of course we’ll let you know and in the meantime don’t slow down. In the meantime, just enroll people and develop into Consultants and Star Consultants do that and then you’re in the million dollar pool, this is awesome, that’s another layer, you enjoy more frosting, you go wow, that’s cool but then Jim Coover did something at the celebration that just, again, just blows everyone’s socks off. I want to give big checks at our Top Achiever event and I want to reward those who really go after this so he said the top 5-point earners in this million-dollar pool are going to go on a cruise with me and Kathy on the Mediterranean, that’s a $20,000 retail value for that cruise. And so the top 5 point earners are going cruising with the Coovers, which is great right and but then the top 3 will receive big checks in third place, the point earner with the, you know, the third, in third place will receive a $40,000 check and walk across stage at Top Achievers and Jim Coover will hand them a $40,000 check. WHOA. The second place winner, point earner, will receive a $60,000 check and the first place winner will receive a $100,000 check. Can you imagine just go, talking to all your people and saying look, let’s go for this, let’s go through and enjoy this layer cake, become Consultants, Star Consultants and Executive, take advantage of all the bonuses and that activity actually generates points in the million dollar pool. So you go to the Isagenix Top Achiever event and you receive a check for all your points and then your name is announced, you are the number 1 point earner and on top of the pool that you earn, you also receive a $100,000 check and you walk across stage and have that handed to you by Jim Coover, President of Isagenix. Now that’s huge. I have never seen that in Isagenix before. How about you Kjersti? Have you ever seen a $100,000 award at a convention?

>> Kjersti: No. I don’t know if it’s like a nice little bonus that most companies could even, you know, bring themselves to give and I, I just think it’s amazing that we have not only the ability to take, you know, a piece of the pie so to speak with the million dollars but to, you know, come in, you know, to really boogie, to get this done, you know, when is the deadline, you said January.

>> Rick: January 3rd.

>> Kjersti: January 3rd.

>> Rick: And it started August 2nd, so you’re activity just before the convention is all included and your activity after the convention. I mean right now, it’s time to get started on this and for a lot listening on this call I’m sure you already have but you also motivate your teams and go forward with this but this is the layer cake of Isagenix with all the filling and all the frosting and then you’ve got the Million Dollar Bonus Pool on top so that’s like whipped cream and a cherry on top.

[ Inaudible ] Just more bonuses and all it is, is just to reward the behaviors of impacting people’s lives. This is one of things why, the reason why I’m in direct selling and the reason why I’m in this industry for 19 years is because early on I mean I had a health challenge that I needed to overcome and it was a direct seller that got my attention and told me that I needed to do something about my health and so I started taking nutritional supplementation and I started on auto-ship back in 1993. Of course, you know, I found about in 2003 and then became, you know, an employee in 2004 but I have been on auto-ship with Isagenix for more than 6 years but I have been on nutritional supplementation auto-ship since February of 1993 so that’s, what is that, 16 years of being on auto-ship. Do you think I know what this is about? Sixteen years of being on auto-ship, I have impacted my health. I have gotten my health back and the direct seller who talked to me about this back in 1993, I revere him as a true friend. So which true friend are you going to go talk to, that you go and impact their life, help them get control of their health, cleanse every day with their everyday cleaning system. And then see a way that they can be rewarded for taking control of their health and they go through this layer cake and they earn all the bonuses and you see them or yourself or both walk across stage and receive these big checks from Jim Coover all for just helping someone to redirect their food budget and redirect it to better food, better nutrition supplementation, cleanse the toxins out of their system and enjoy better health. That’s all this is about. How many people can you impact and then we’ll just reward you for doing it?

>> Kjersti: Well, you know Jim, I know that there’s people that, you know, in winning other contests in the past, that they didn’t even realize that they were in the winnings. They had no idea that they were in the money because they’re main focus and intent was really reaching out and helping people and, you know, moving forward at a good pace and they were just absolutely taken back when they found out that they were in the top of the point earnings at the Winter Windfall or whatever the case was and so it’s exciting. It will be exciting to see, you know, the number of people that actually take the stage at Top Achievers to be recognized, to get their piece of the pie. Ewwww, it’s exciting, it’s exciting. You know I just, I wish everybody good luck because what a way to be able to use these types of incentives to build your teams.

>> Rick: And yes, let’s close this, let me just ask everyone a question, you know, are you earning your fair share? Are you going to earn your share of these Isagenix rewards? There’s 3 questions and we have a flyer on this and you’ll see it in your back office, but there’s 3 questions to ask yourself. Number 1, am I on auto-ship with a minimum order of 100BV, that’s the qualifier, you can qualify for all of this by being on auto-ship. Number 2, will I enroll 2 people each month who will also commit to auto-ship. There is an action item, there’s the behavior that we are rewarding. Number 3, will I help 2 personally enrolled associates advance in rank each month and maintain that ranking and I’ll get my people to Consultant, then to Star Consultant, then to Executive. If you do those 3 things, enroll in auto-ship, enroll 2 people a month, and help 2 people advance in rank each month, you are in the money. You will get your share and I’m asking you right now. This is my call to action. I remember talking to a lady that when I was going through the enrollment process, she said now Rick, explain to me, how do I earn money and how do I make sure I leave no money on the table. She said that to me and I said, wow, what a nice way to say it. Don’t ever leave any money on the table. She became a Consultant in her first night. Why, because she said I want to bank all that volume. Now by being an auto-ship you bank the volume and by doing this, earning as much money as you can, but don’t leave any money on the table. These rewards are out there waiting for you. Don’t leave them on the table, go after them and enjoy the layer cake. This is a lot of fun.

>> Kjersti: YEAH! Wow, well you know, one last question that I have for you Rick for those of, those people that are listening in that want the flyers that want to be able to print it off, to, you know, understand exactly what they need to do with all of the specifics on these new incentives, where are they going to go to read more and to print off whatever they need?

>> Rick: All right. We have one flyer that explains all the bonuses and that’s right in your back office and that is, as you go into the back office, it’s right on your desk where there’s 4 rotating little banners and one of them is Earn Rewards and you’ll click on that and you’ll see a flyer that explains all the bonuses. Then there’s another flyer which is Are You Earning Your Fair Share of Isagenix Rewards and how you get to that is you go to the September 8th E-News. So when you get to your back office, you go over to the library and you’ll see that little pull down menu and you’ll see E-News archives, just click on there and go the September 8th E-News, click on it and you’ll see an article about Earning Your Fair Share of Isagenix Rewards and there’s a little link and it’ll take you to 2 page flyer that will explain all this. It actually gives you a little map of how to go for it and then there is another flyer in your back office that explains how the Million Dollar Bonus Pool works and that’s a link off the Million Dollar Bonus Pool, off that one banner. So those are the 3 things to look for in your back office and yes, it’s a lot of information but it’s a lot of rewards and that’s why I wanted to take the time on this call Kjersti and explain. It’s one thing to talk about what all the bonuses and we can do that with the flyers and we can do that from the events, but like you know, I’ll reiterate what, how I wanted to start this call out. I wanted to teach you how to use this to build your business and let’s have fun with it. We talked about layer cakes and being a carrot dangler but it’s really, you know, if you dangle a carrot for your people and let them see what money there is out there and don’t leave it on the table, you will grow your business and enjoy each layer with the frosting. You kind of use that metaphors, people will have fun with it and I’ll tell you this idea came to me, I was doing a call with Deb Cook [assumed spelling], she lives out in Colorado. She said there are so many bonuses, this is like a layer cake and I said Deb, bingo, you hit it. That’s the metaphor and so, you know, I’ve been using it ever since, so thanks Deb for giving me that idea. So, you know, all this information is in your back office and teach your people how to find it and start [inaudible] for it. If you’re a seasoned leader looking down at your organization and saying who can you motivate and dangle the carrot. Who’s a Consultant that needs to be a Star Consultant? Who’s a Star Consultant, that needs to become an Executive and you just pinpoint, you know, and target those people in your organization that can earn some more money. If you’re brand new starting out, wow, you have it going for you because you have enrolled in Isagenix at the right time, with the right momentum, with the right products and in my 19 years of experience in this industry I’ve never seen anything come together like this, so perfectly. You hit the right company at the right time. You are home. So take advantage of all of this and go out and have fun.

Kjersti Coté (pronounced KEER-stee KOH-tee) is the daughter of Isagenix Founder and Master Formulator, John Anderson. She has been an Isagenix member since the company began in March 2002.
