>> Well, good morning everyone, and welcome to our Saturday morning business training with Isagenix. My name is Kjersti Cote, your host. And it is just an absolute gorgeous morning in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho as we are about ready to kick off our Saturday blitz in this area. I’m sure that many of you received a call from Rick Despain yesterday encouraging you guys to get to one of these. They are going to be phenomenal, phenomenal events. So we’re really looking forward to that, and, of course, this morning on our call we have J. J. Oswald from Sound Concepts.
And for those of you who are brand new to Isagenix, J. J. along with his father are owners of Sound Concepts, and they basically create tools to help people in the direct sales industry such as us in Isagenix recruit and train and also, you know, to represent their businesses and to help them build their businesses with amazing tools. Things like audios, DVDs, brochures, magazines, all kinds of things, banners for your meetings. So they have obviously partnered with Isagenix.
The name of the website is isasaletools.com. To be quite honest I think that J. J. and his father, Mac, are completely invaluable. I think what they do at their headquarters in Utah is just nothing but quality, consistency. The are certainly a company of integrity, and we are just grateful to have them as a part of, you know, intertwined into our Isagenix business. So J. J. is married. He has three beautiful children. They reside in Lee High, Utah, and it’s just a pleasure to be able to have you on, J. J. Good morning and welcome to the call.
>> Good morning, Kjersti. Thank you so much for letting me be on the call. I’m excited to be here. And another thing I wanted to mention is, you know, it’s such a wonderful opportunity to work with such a great company like Isagenix. You know, we work with obviously a lot of companies in the industry, and, you know, while there are many great companies, Isagenix really to us really stands out with your amazing products, with your amazing leadership, and, you know, amazing field leaders as well.
>> You know what? I couldn’t agree with you more, and thank you for the kind words, because I think that you’re right. I mean, we are really attracting very high-quality people to Isagenix, because Isagenix is just so multifaceted. I mean, there’s a lot of network marketing companies out there that offer goods to their customers, but there is very–something very, very special to our products to actually–really when you look at it, the reasons why Isagenix was founded, it was founded for the right reasons. And so it is a special, and I’ve been so excited to be able to be a part of this and watch it grow since its infancy up in until date. And I know that you guys came on and started developing tools on the side. When was that? What year was that? Do you remember?
>> Do you know what? It’s been about five, I think five years. So it was back in 2003 or 2004. So it’s been quite a while. It’s been awesome to see you guys grow over the years. I mean, it’s been amazing.
>> Yea, and, of course, we just finished our annual Celebration, and that is what this call is all about is to talk about all of the new tools that you guys have helped to procreate and to print for all of us, and, you know, allowing our associates to order these amazing tools to help build their businesses, and kind of let the tools do the work so to speak. So why don’t we–I know that we kind of want to break the call up into two things; obviously new tools and then, of course, your hottest selling tools that our Isagenix associates love to buy to help you know, build their organizations. So let’s start off with the new stuff. What do you guys have?
>> We’ve got a lot of great new items that were released at convention, and as you’ll see we really try hard to put an emphasis not only on recruiting tools but also on tools that will help to train you and your new people as they get involved with Isagenix, and so you’ll see that there are quite a bit of both of these types of tools, these tool mediums. And I’ll go through the new tools as well as some of the better selling, the ones that are really working well out there in the field. Let’s talk first about this new newspaper that was updated, the Health and Prosperity. And the majority of this paper has been updated. There’s a new introductory article. There’s a lot of great new content about the Cleanse for Life on the first page. There’s also another thing we really got some good feedback from the filed as they wanted some more information about the before and after pictures and especially about weight loss, and so we’ve dedicated an entire page in this newspaper to weight loss and explaining the amazing benefits that obviously can be had with the Isagenix systems. And so that newspaper has been updated. It’s a great tool to be able to use as a handout tool. It’s a great item that can be left in waiting rooms and things like that.
We have a lot of people, you know, the Robert Arthur group and many other groups down in Texas that use what they call the bread crumb trail where they leave it in different doctors’ offices and things like that; obviously leaving their labels and things like that to be contacted at a later date. But that’s a great tool to use with both a warm and a cold market. Let’s move on and talk about some of the new brochures that are available. There’s a new shake brochure that was released at convention that really highlights the different ingredients. It also talks through some of the health benefits with the shake, and, you know, this was created after the new formulation was kind of released. And so all of the updated information is there. It’s a wonderful brochure. And you know what’s amazing, Kjersti, because I was talking to corporate about this and thinking we’ve never really had a really good brochure that really promotes the shake, and it being one of your top selling items, you know, I think it’s timely to have nice brochure like this to be able to go out and tell that story.
>> Sure. Absolutely. And the shake brochure too–I love it. It’s not like, you know, vertically skinny and, you know, like your typical brochure. I mean, I love the Cleanse for Life, the shake brochures. They’re a little bit wider; almost kind of like a little booklet.
>> Yea, absolutely. Yep. The Cleanse for Life brochure reads very much like a booklet. In that case, we were able to put a little bit more content. And so that shake brochure we’ve had lots of good response so far, and we’re really excited about it. I think it’s very well done, talks through, you know, the source and the unique source where Isagenix gets their Whey protein, and really easy to understand. A great brochure to inform your prospects. Other brochures that I want to make sure everyone is aware of. We’ve updated the athletes brochure. And I want to thank Susan Sly for her help on that brochure. It’s much–I think it’s a huge improvement.
This one also reads similar to a little booklet, but what we’ve done in this brochure is we’ve gone out and talked through exactly what’s in the Isagenix products as far as the ionic minerals, the vitamins, the amino acids, the Whey proteins; everything that would be really important to an athlete, the adaptogens. And then we’ve gone through and, you know, highlighted some reasons why an athlete should be using Isagenix products and systems. And then, of course we went on and showed some testimonials and lots of large photos throughout. It’s a great, beautiful brochure. And you guys have amazing products that, you know, the athlete market is a huge market. And so I hope that brochure–I think it’s going to be great for you guys moving forward. The other thing that we’ve updated is the Isagenix product catalogue. I don’t know if you saw that yet, Kjersti.
>> I did, and I got several copies. And I love it. It’s beautiful. And then, of course, it pulls the information within about the new cleanse, the Cleanse for Life, and the Ionix Supreme powders. Correct?
>> Yea, it does. It does include the new information about those two products. And, you know, I really like that type of tool to be able to reintroduce maybe past customers. If there’s people that maybe have fallen off and aren’t using the Isagenix products but have in the past, that’s a great way to reintroduce them to Isagenix is say, “Hey, check out some of our new, you know, our latest products.” It’s a great tool. Just so you know, Kjersti, there is going to be an order drop where everybody will receive one of these catalogues in their orders during the month of September, so look for that coming this month. And they’re also available here. We also have them. They’re sold in ten packs, and so that’s a great way, you know, to like I said, I like it to introduce the product, and I like to reintroduce those products to your past customers.
>> Yes. You know what I love too? I’m going to just make a little statement here is the affordability of all of these tools. I mean, they are incredibly affordable like the catalogues work out to be like a dollar a piece. You know, for you to be able to spend a dollar, you know, to re-recruit or to introduce Isagenix to somebody with a catalogue, I think, is a phenomenal price. And it makes having tools, ordering tools, and using them a very, very easy no matter what your budget is.
>> Right. You know here is at Sound Concepts we’ve tried really hard through the years. We understand that this is very much a numbers game for the associates. And, you know, we try very hard to make sure that those prices stay as inexpensive as possible because we understand that in order for them to work you have to pass out a lot of them. And for that reason we try to keep those numbers low and the cost low for you guys, and, you know, that catalogue, I mean, is for the value you see. I think it’s 60 pages of content, four colors throughout, eight by eight square, and it has a ton of content. And for about a dollar you can, you know, I think there’s a huge value there. Absolutely.
>> Yea. Yea.
>> Let’s move on and talk about the–there’s a new brochure called Building Wealth with Isagenix. It’s geared towards healthcare professionals, and we’re really exited about all of the new healthcare professional tools that are now available. And, you know, Isagenix has really put an emphasis on going after those markets. And, you know, M.D.s, chiropractors, nurses, and many more; and so this brochure is geared to go after those markets. And, you know, really I think it can be used to give to a healthcare professional, but absolutely I think it’s good to give to anybody just because it builds credibility as it tells the story of those healthcare professionals how they’re using it themselves a well as in their practices and having success. And so that’s beautiful brochure. It’s testimonial based, and we’re really excited about it.
There is a healthcare professional packet, and I want to spend a minute talking about that this morning on the call. The–some of the contents in the pack are geared specifically to a healthcare professional for them to use in their practice. And so really that’s meant to be offered to those healthcare professionals, but it doesn’t mean that some of those items can’t be purchased separately, and because they are geared to invite, you know, the healthcare professionals that you guys would now, you know, and help introduce Isagenix with. And so this brochure is definitely one of those you, you know, you guys ought to be ordering and using to introduce your healthcare professionals that you do know.
The other items that are included in that pack are some new tear-off pads that have been created. One of which the nutritional questionnaire pad. Now this is one of those items that you guys can use, that anybody can use. It goes through and asks a lot of specific questions that would help them understand exactly which system or which products would be beneficial to them. There’s also prescription pads. This is one that would be meant for a physician, or a M.D., or a chiropractor to use in their practice. Again, you know, selecting or identifying which pack or systems that they recommend to their patients. The other one is a Tracking My Progress sheet where–and, again, I think this is another item that I think anybody could use. And, you know, you’ll see basically it has a BMI index. It also has where you can track the amount of weight that you’ve lost, all the inches that you’ve lost; a really great tear-off pad. They come in packs of pads of 50 sheets, and, again, for only 13 dollars you get, you know 50 sheets all four color, a really great tool. We’ve had great success with that tool medium, the tear-off pad. They’re very inexpensive, and they’re very simple, easy to use. And so we’re really excited about those.
Some of those new items in the healthcare professional pack. Before we jump onto some of these other items, I just want to make sure we mention the other tear-off pads that are available. We also have updated the Isagenix Experience Pad. And this had been very much simplified, and I really like this because what it does is it enables you to tell the whole Isagenix story from both the health and the wealth and opportunity perspective on one sheet. We’ve broken it down into two columns, the health and the wealth. And, you know, really identifying the problems that people are having both on a health and a wealth basis, talking why Isagenix is that solution, and then going on and talking through some talking points of specific results that people are having both from a health and wealth basis. So that’s–we’re really excited about that tool. It’s really–it’s very beautifully designed. And on the back of that sheet is the composition plan and goes through the five or six ways to earn with Isagenix. And then just want to let you all know that the enrollment form has been updated with all the updated packs of pricing, and that’s the other tear-off pad that is available.
>> J.J.
>> Go ahead.
>> I just wanted to make mention that these pads, these tear-off pads, it’s like a tablet where, you know, it’s–you literally just tear off one of these pieces of paper at the very top. It tears off beautifully too, nice and clean tear. And I absolutely love these pads. I actually use the enrollment pad for whether you’re doing like a booth at a fair or an expo to be able to have that pad right there so that people get a visual of what different packs look like. What’s going to be best suited for them and their budget, and then you flip it over and it’s got the US application, you know, enrollment form where you literally take all of their information. And as soon as your event is finished, then you go home and you pop them into your organization.
I think that the nutritional questionnaire pad is genius. And the weight loss tracking pad–I mean, when you sit down with your people if they’re locally, you know, if they live locally close to you to be able to do– to fill out that questionnaire, that nutritional questionnaire, and then, you know, tear it off. Have them sign it. I’m sure there’s somewhere to sign it, but also the weight loss tracking pad where you could just tear it off and hand it tothem. These are also things that you could tear off and actually stick it in a envelope and, you know, mail to your brand new associate to help get them started. And when they do get it then, you know, they call you up. And you go through the information. I mean, my mind was just ticking as you were sharing these tools, J.J., and how someone would actually use theses tools and incorporate them into their business building efforts and their coaching efforts and coaching people through their system.
>> Yes.
>> It’s an absolutely genius tool.
>> Well, those tear pads, we know that many times business is built belly-to-belly. And whether you’re out doing, you know, a fair or if you have booth at trade show, or if you have a–you’re doing a home presentation. These work very well in that scenario. The enrollment form also works great. I know a lot of Isagenix associates that are using that. You know, a lot of people build over the phone. And you can use it that way where you have all those talking points in front of you, and you can quickly use the enrollment side of the application form to capture their information. And, again, Kjersti, we built these not necessarily to, you know, to fill out the information to fax into the company. More than anything, you know, the idea is to capture their information in a very user-friendly way and then to be able to go back and enroll that person online through the back office. And so, you know, that tool is a must have in my opinion; the enrollment form as well as many of these other tear-off pads. >> That’s nice. Very good.
>> okay, well, let’s keep moving on. There’s a new book that I want to at least mention quickly that has been updated. It’s called the Thirty-Three Frequently Asked Questions about Nutritional Cleansing. And Dr. Becky Natrajden wrote this. It’s a little booklet, and before we had another book that was called Just the FAQs about Nutritional Cleansing. And basically the difference between these two is we’ve now made this Isagenix specific where Dr. Becky goes through. And she, you know, questions like which system is best for me. And she’ll go through it and talk through the benefits of a nine day or the benefits of a 30 day, and so really there’s a lot more Isagenix specific content as it relates to, you know some of those questions that she answers in that book. That’s a great–it’s a quick read. And so it’s something that would be really good to give to somebody that’s maybe just learning about cleansing or whether they’re just starting on the cleanse. And they can go through and refer to that little booklet as they’re cleansing. Those are very inexpensive. You can get them for as a little as two dollars and fifty cents. And so we’re really exited about that little booklet. It’s a really great credible tool that Dr. Becky has helped put together.
Let’s move on and talk through some CDs that were released at convention. Again, part of that healthcare professional pack is a new CD that was produced with Dr. Bill Wheeler interviewed by Jim Coover. And it’s about 28 minutes, and, again, the CD title is called Isagenix for Healthcare Professionals. And so, again, this is a tool that is designed to give to a healthcare professional. The reason why, Kjersti, I like a CD for a healthcare professional is because those healthcare professionals are extremely busy, and getting them to slow down long enough to read or watch a DVD can be difficult at some times. So I really like the idea of a CD because they can do it while they’re doing something else, you know, while they’re driving to work. You know, they are obviously very busy people, but yet on a CD, you still get that power of the spoken word. And Dr. Wheeler did a great job. This is about 28 minutes I believe in length and really goes through and tells why Isagenix is such a great fit for them to be able to fit into their practice and have as another multiple, you know, as another stream of income. So we’re really exited about that CD. And, again, that is also part of the healthcare professional pack, which we sale for about 99 dollars, which is about a 35 dollar savings, which is also on our website.
Again, I would recommend this pack specifically to a healthcare professional; otherwise, I’d go through and if you’re not a healthcare professional but you want to target healthcare professionals into your teams then I would recommend definitely that brochure, this new CD, and there are a variety of also DVDs and other brochures that would be great, you know, to introduce. But this new brochure and this new CD really go hand-in-hand, a great tool to give to healthcare professionals. There’s also a new training CD that David Wood has released that’s called Mind Set Your Key to Success. And, you know, we all love David Wood. And he’s so talented in so many ways, and this is a great short 45 minute CD that really talks through the mindset that you need to have to be successful in your personal lives as well as building an Isagenix business. The CD comes in a really nice entrapment, and it’s only five dollars. And that’s another great tool, again, from a training perspective. I would definitely recommend having one of these. The last couple of items that I wanted to make mention is there is a new DVD that was released. What did you think of that DVD, Kjersti?
>> I love it, and I watched it three times. I love the colors that are used. I mean, just a phenomenal DVD. It’s called Transform Your Life, and you guys, if you have not seen it and you weren’t at the event, definitely get yourselves some copies, because it’s all about success stories, and it’s about health. It’s about wealth, and, you know, freedom, trying freedom. And it’s just a pretty powerful DVD. It’s my favorite. It’s my favorite now.
>> Absolutely. I like the DVD because of the length. It’s only 12 minutes, but yet you can really understand the entire Isagenix story in 12 minutes. So this is a great tool to introduce a brand new prospect to Isagenix. It’s also a great tool. I know that in the creation process, I know they were keeping in mind the use of it in a home presentation. It’s, you know, because it’s short length and you can really get to know who Isagenix is, what they’re all about, the founders, the stories, the products. Everything is all in this DVD. Really excited about it. It is available on a DVD. It’s also online, isamovie.com. And you can also–if you want it in a DVD format for your home presentations or as a pass out tool, we also make it available in that format too. Well, Kjersti, I think that kind of covers.
Oh, I do want to make mention that we have quite a few new items available now in Spanish. That Hispanic market is really beginning to grow. It’s a great opportunity that still really has been untouched, I think, in the US, and so there’s a great opportunity there. Now we’ve created some new items and translated some of our better selling items to support that market and that growth. The Health and Prosperity is now available in Spanish as well as the Cleanse for Life brochure that John Anderson wrote along with Dr. Becky. And we translated that. Now it’s available in Spanish. So those two new tools are available as well as the product catalogue in Spanish.
>> Now, J.J., with all of these tools being available in Spanish or at least at lot of them, this is exciting because if you were not at the event, Jim Pierce announced on stage that we’re launching Mexico sometime next year. So to be able to gear up and to have these tools in Spanish, to be able to go into our new market, that is an exiting thing.
>> Absolutely. Absolutely. We’re excited about that, and we’ve seen that Hispanic market grow a lot in the last year. And I think there’s so many more possibilities. And like you said gearing up for Mexico, making those contacts here in the US so that, you know, your international businesses can grow is huge.
>> Yea, absolutely. Well, let’s talk–now let’s talk just a little bit about a few of the best sellers. What would you say your top three best sellers are tool-wise?
>> Top three. I would say one of those is that enrollment form, but one that we haven’t talked about is the other brochure that I want to make sure that everybody has a copy have and that you are using is the 21 Reasons to Cleanse. That is written by Dr. Becky Natrajden, and that is a great tool that really goes through all of the health benefits of cleansing and somebody in a very quick read can understand the health benefits of cleansing. So that’s by far our best selling brochure right now. The other one that is a close second is the Cleanse for Life brochure that really encompasses, goes through all of the ingredients, talks through the minerals, you know. That one is a little more detailed has some more science and research that’s noted there. So if there’s somebody that wants a lot more detail, that’s definitely the brochure I would recommend. That one is definitely one of our top sellers.
As far as the CD goes, Jim Rhodes’ CD the Isagenix Advantage is a great seller. I’ve heard so man success stories of, you know, using that tool. Just when I was at convention this last month somebody came up to me and said, “I love that CD. I love it so much I tried to introduce it to the same person, you know, trying to get them into my business. And finally I gave them that CD, and finally that was the thing that helped them come into it.”
And the reason I like that CD so much, Kjersti, is because Jim’s so real, you know. It’s not all pumped up and some fancy CD. It was recorded on a conference call, and you can just sense, you know, his sincerity, and it just feels real. And I think that’s why it’s working so well. You know, lots of success I’m hearing with that CD. Definitely if you’re not using it, I would definitely, you known, encourage you to do so. One thing I’ve also heard of groups that are using that CD and having a lot of success is they’ve implemented what is called the Join the 130 Club. Basically what that is, you know, if you can encourage your group ad you set a goal as a group to pass out 100 CDs in 30 days per person, you know, you’ll definitely see some growth and some activity in your group. And so I thought that was kind of an interesting idea to join the 130 Club, 100 CDs in 30 days. So that might be an idea for some of you guys to implement within your groups. That would definitely would be a great CD.
There’s another CD, the healthcare professional CD is obviously new. And I also like the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Kids CD that Andrea Henkart has done a great a niche CD. Let me think through one more–as far as the DVDs. The other DVD that’s selling really well right now is the Six Figure Makers DVD that Lenny Evans produced along with Kathy Coover. That to me as far as leading with the business and the opportunity is a great DVD that if you do not–if you’re not using I would definitely recommend getting your hands on a few of those DVDs and using. I think as far as the other better selling tools, you got the Dreams magazine which I really like. It’s a very incredible piece. It goes through and highlights the different target markets all in one item; goes through and talks through weight loss. It hits athletes. It also has a section on healthcare professionals as well as business success stories, and so I really like that Dreams magazine; a great tool to definitely have on hand at all times. So I hope that’s helpful, Kjersti.
>> Yea.
>> Those are some of the better sellers.
>> Yes, okay, well, I’m going not go through the recap list because then that way everybody knows that they’ve got everything added to their notes as we’ve been going through here. So brand new things is the Health and Prosperity newspaper, love that; the shake brochure; updated athletes brochure; brand new catalogue; the Building Wealth with Isagenix for Healthcare Professionals. That is an amazing tool. And then, of course, the healthcare professional pack. And then the new tools that are within that pack, one of them being the nutritional questionnaire pad, the prescription pad, the weight loss tracking pad, the also the Isagenix Experience tear-off pad. This is not in the healthcare professional. That’s an additional pad that you can get, which is fantastic. And, of course, the Isagenix enrollment pad. And then you had talked about the booklet of the 33 questions of frequently asked questions about nutritional cleansing. I love that. And then CDs would be the healthcare professionals or Isagenix for healthcare professional and then, of course, the new training CD with David Wood. The DVD, of course, we mentioned Transform Your Life. And then some of the most famous tools, of course, the enrollment form tear-off pad, the 21 reason to cleanse, which by the way I love that brochure. I also love the Cleanse for Life brochure, which is another one that you mentioned that’s a good, good seller. The Jim Rhodes CD, the Isagenix Advantage. I love that. Like you said, he’s very real.
Healthy Mothers, Healthy Kids; Six Figure Makers. If you want this CD or excuse me the DVD, that’s fantastic because you could just pop it in, and you don’t need internet connection; although, that is on the internet at sixfiguremakers.com all spelled out. S, i, x, figure makers; so check that out. And then, of course, the Dreams magazine. I love it. Oh, my goodness these are a lot of tools. I just want to make one other mention, because this is one–my all-time faves is the banners. The banners popup. They come in this nifty little black, you know, four by four. You know, it’s about four inches by four inches on the end, and then it’s about, I don’t know, two and a-half feet long. And you open it up. You pull out this big long metal thing, and inside of it is this popup poster. It is the slickest thing. They stand about seven feet in height, six and a-half feet in height. They’re beautiful, full color, very high quality, and for the price; you simply can not beat the price that Sound Concepts has with the graphics, the coloring, the quality, the taking, you know, graphics to your local banner store and having them try to make some sort of a banner. They are self-contained meaning that you don’t need to hang them up on a wall or anything. They literally just popup right up out of their stand, and it’s just the slickest thing. That’s my favorite tool I think that you guys offer, because you can put these things in your living room while you’re doing a home presentation, expo booths, fair booths. You can put them in salons to intrigue people, you know, on what Isagenix is. Doctor’s offices can put them in there. And, of course, J.J., I know you guys have a variety. So I would have to say, you know, go check it out.
>> Check them out. They’re all available, you know, to view online. And one other thing, Kjersti, I wanted to make mention is there is a bunch of new items that are available in our custom print section of our website. They’re some new event hanging banners. If you’re looking for a large banner to have for an event or something like that, you can order those on our website, and those are found in the custom print section. Some other new custom print items that we have along with all the great business cards that are there is we have some new car magnets, window decals, some event flyers that you could make some announcements. And so there’s a bunch of new times that we’re just releasing in the last couple of weeks. So if you’re not family with those custom print items, make sure you check those out. The other thing, Kjersti, that we need to make sure we mention is Dr. Andrew Keech’s book.
>> Yes, and, you know, I would love to just kind of make mention on this, J.J. because this book is a beautiful book. It is all about polypeptides which are all, you know, isolated fine protein within cholesterom, which is, you know, is in bovine cholesterom. And that’s what our IsaMune is all about. That’s what IsaMune is. You spray it in your moth three times a day, and, you know, wa la. I mean, it’s amazing, amazing effects on the body. With it being a nutritional supplement, we’ve had it involved in Isagenix since 2004. It’s really–it doesn’t enhance the immune system but helps to kind of go in and reprogram the body almost kind of like defragging the body so that the body works better and the immune system works better. So seasonal sensitivities are much, much less. But guess what guys, this product just got FDA approved. They’ve been doing a lot of scientific research over the last five years, ten years actually on this. And Andrew, Dr. Andrew Keech has came out with a book that shares all of the fabulous information, studies, and everything in regards to this one product and, of course, available through Isagenix. Isn’t that amazing?
