>> Good morning everyone, and welcome to our Saturday Morning Business Training with Isagenix. So, my name is Kjersti Cote your host and it’s a pleasure to be here with all of you. As we are entering into the weekend, how fun and exciting and we just wanna kudos to all of you. I wanna acknowledge you guys for being on on a Saturday morning listening into our business training. We have very fun, very informative call in store for all of you the beautiful Ellen Bradley Ganus is with us. She is a 6 Star Golden Circle. 3 Star Crystal Executive in Isagenix. She’s gonna be talking about why network marketing and why Isagenix? This is a huge, huge topic today because as we are, you know, within this economic recession, you know, why is it that network marketing is getting a lot of attention and of course why Isagenix is occurring with slips and down.

So, let me introduce Ellen to all of you. Ellen lived in the Los Angeles area with her handsome husband, strikingly handsome husband, Paul [laughter]. Their two beautiful children, Spencer, she’s actually 10 now. She just turned 10. Tyler who’s gonna be 7 in just a couple of weeks. And Ellen has made an amazing wedding in the entertainment industry. She’s been an actress all of her life. She is recently working on a new show on NBC called “Southland”. Some of you are probably already addicts to this show. I mean it’s an amazing show. And, you know, she’s also works on the soaps. She’s been on the Young and the Restless, The Bold and The Beautiful. She’s been in the film called the “Interrogation.” So she had a lot of fun. And on top of all of that and being a mommy, she is a wonderful top income earner in Isagenix. She like I said is the 6 Star Golden Circle.

The 3 Star Crystal Executive really indicates Ellen’s leadership skills. I mean, she’s helped to promote these individuals as leaders within our own organization which might I add is an organization of over 20,000 people in her team alone. That’s pretty, petty exciting. And because of her accomplishments and her dedication and her leadership within Isagenix, she has had the opportunity to serve on the Isagenix Advisory Board. She’s also received a couple of very special awards, The Woman of Isagenix Award as well as the Persistence Award. And you know, outside of Isagenix, she was also honored as the Ambassador of the Year for the Ozark Research Institute. She’s also been featured in HMC Magazine along with Elle Magazine and we’re just grateful to have you with us this morning Ellen. So, good morning and welcome to the call.

>> Than k you Kjersti. Thank you for the beautiful introduction. Gosh! You know, I think everybody is busy. Isn’t everybody busy right now? I felt so busy when I listen to you [laughter]. Talk about what [inaudible].

>> I know. Well, you know what though, it’s kinda fun ’cause, you know, as we were talking before we started the call and your husband is home helping you build your business, and mine is as well. And I just — life is rich. Isn’t it? I mean not rich with material things but rich with, you know, being surrounded by such amazing people for me, you know, you having you as one of my friends that –

>> Oh, thank you.

>> coming to gather and making a difference in this world.

[ Simultaneous Talking ]

>> Oh my god! You know Kjersti just before we get on the particular topic that we’re gonna be discussing this morning I did a big product support meeting this week and it took me back to my roots and it was just so exciting to remember why we do the business of Isagenix. It’s just because we have these amazingly powerful products that were designed so perfectly by your dad. And we’re just so grateful to him and so grateful for these products and what they do inside the bodies of everybody that tries it. And you know that party was just so heart felt and so special to me because I have been doing so many business trainings because people during this economy are truly looking for an opportunity. But it was kinda fun just to go back to my roots and be there to support on products, share product, and oh, we had a gaff.

>> You know what, and let’s actually before we get in to talking about economic recession. I know there are a lot of people that are listening on the line that are brand new to the company and I will love for you to just take a couple of minutes and share your story. Like where did your journey, your Isagenix journey all began, take us back.

>> Well, you know, it was a gift. I never knew anything about network marketing. I didn’t even know the word network marketing, isn’t that funny? I mean, I know others have been exposed to, you know, some of the big companies but it was never anything sort of in my mind, blurry vision I might say. So, I wasn’t looking for anything and it arrived as a product, as a gift, and my husband got on a program first and he dropped 17 pounds in his first cleanse which was very significant because he was struggling on Weight Watchers and loosing a quarter of a pound a week. And my husband is also an actor and at the time he was working on a show and they had to redo all his wardrobe. They’re like, “What happened here? We just saw you last week.” Off course [laughter], but know in mind — what are you doing, what are doing? So, you know, he started sharing it and mostly just because we wanted everybody to experience the great results we were having.

I loss my final 10 baby pounds and most importantly for me the shifted energy and the sustaining energy and then a lack of cravings for sugar. Those were my great wins. And those were things that kind of intrigue me ’cause nothing ever stop my sugar cravings before and then to see my husband loosing his weight and feeling great. You know, the interest started with our product result and the product arrived as a gift. Who knew what was in that box though. So, when I started looking at the compensation plan and I realized, “My gosh, what you can do by just telling people?” I got it, you know, and when you get these numbers you just don’t sleep and that’s what happened. So rather than being on this, you know, just mission of goodwill which is how it sort of started. I decided to really study it and become the student of the industry and, you know, I put in my captains and I train the people that wanted tot do the same thing that I had plans to do and we formed a wonderful company together.

>> Also [phonetic] exciting. And then tell people, when was it that you join Isagenix?

>> I actually was given this gift in May of 2002. So it was — I believed Isagenix opened its doors in March.

>> Yeah.

>> So it wasn’t from the beginning. But I understand something Kjersti, I didn’t do the business in the beginning. The whole first year doing product, I really — it wasn’t — I wasn’t a fast study [laughter]. And then I got a little bit side-tracked because I had my son fell ill and we we’re hospitalized for like a year — we sort to have that 2-year journey. So my real business with Isagenix began in — 2006 was when I really formed the company. Put in my captains and started doing it. So it was 6, 7, 8, and then last year I actually became one of the newer millionaires in the company. So I did achieved a lot pretty quickly, very focus, and over that time period.

>> Yeah and you have been very focused, and talk about persistence and dedication and really finding out what works in developing a system — something that’s duplicatable in your organization and I’ve heard you said that, you know, you’re looking for your team captain. I like that [laughter]. That’s very cool. Let’s jump in to the topic. Obviously, you know, why network marketing? Why Isagenix? So, you know, first of all — okay, you know, you just mentioned that you didn’t even know what the word network marketing even meant. So how was — what have you learned about this industry and why would Isagenix be the way for people to go when in comes to jumping in and with both feet into this industry.

>> Well remember in the beginning of the talk when I said, “Are you busy? I’m busy, everybody is busy?”

>> Yes.

>> See, to me this is what we need to communicate most because what many new associates perceived as resistance from other people to be completely turned around and you’ll be able to share this opportunity and bring people aboard very quickly. If you really, really understand the right way in which to share this and then when you understand the full range of benefits of network marketing then that’s all it will take. So hopefully we’re gonna achieve that on this call. What do we hear right now when we step out of our home, what do hear most form the community around? We hear that we’re tired. We hear that we are busy. We don’t have time to do the things that we love to do. Many of us are overweight. Most of us are undernourished. People are headachy, allergies, sneezy, and sick. Well, that is just perfect for us unfortunately [laughter]. Now, it’s not perfect. It’s not perfect him. It’s perfect for us to have opportunity to impact their life. That’s really what it is. I mean, it’s amazing, it’s just though the world is waiting for us. And when I say that’s perfect for us, I view myself as somebody that steps out my door with a gift and I’m just so excited to change somebody’s life and I know that I can. Okay, so from a product sampling, I have that belief, and that fuels my confidence and I step out my doors and I do my thing.

>> But now, when we look at network marketing, because see in the beginning, Kjersti before I made the money, I was very — I was sort of just not comfortable sharing the opportunity. I know a lot of people listening probably feel the same way. But what I started to do was borrowed the stories of people around me that I knew and trusted that were already earning. And then when I did my three ways, I put people on a call with those people. In that way, it took the pressure off of me in that moment ’cause I haven’t earned. But now that I have earned and now that it’s this time later, I have the same beliefs and I have the same confidence in what can be truly created by anybody in that work marketing with the right company and in my opinion, Isagenix is simply the best. So we discussed sort of the conversations that are going on around your home that you’re hearing. For me, when I hear somebody is busy, first of all, you wanna get something done, what do you do?

You tell the busiest person you can find. So in the middle of everybody is sort
