>> Kjersti: Alright, well good morning everyone and welcome to our Saturday morning business training with Isagenix International. My name Kjersti Cote your host and a pleasure to be here with all of you this morning. We have an exceptional call, I, I cannot wait for the content to be delivered. We have none other than Mr. David Wood with his. He is our senior vice president and chief training officer with Isagenix and of course he is definitely a man that I have so enjoyed getting to know over the last about two and a half years. I met David in February of 2007, wow 2007 and, and of course I met him at a very first event that he put on for Isagenix and, and some of the top income earners and I thought who is this guy, I mean he’s got a lot of energy, a lot of passion, and excitement and of course with him was Michelle Dohini, his partner and I, like I said I so enjoyed getting to know this couple and what David has been able to bring to the table has been priceless in my opinion. He’s been able to impact you know and train hundreds and hundreds of people within Isagenix, probably thousands. I have no idea how many people were registered for the event that a lot of top leaders, a lot of field associated to help them take themselves to their next level in their lives through these amazing programs. They’re very exciting and engaging, the programs they are very effective, very fun and he’s actually developed a very, very specific program just for Isagenix.
So we’re very, very happy to have him as a part of our Isagenix family. A little bit about David’s background. He’s lived, traveled, worked in over 40 different countries around the world and he’s helped to grow multi-million dollar companies. He is one of the world’s top master trainers and actually prior to Isagenix, he was with a company Peak Potentials, which is a company that was founded by T. Harv Eker and he literally was the trainer of all trainers, but we’re very grateful for him, his talents and everything that he brings to us and of course I can’t, I can’t leave this out because I’m in love with my kids, David has two handsome, wonderful sons, Calvin and Ben and I know that David you’re having a lot of fun raising your two sons. But with that good morning David. Welcome to the call and I know that you’re calling in from down under.
>> David: Yeah so, so I’m actually overlooking the, the Sydney harbor and the harbor bridge and you know the opera house to the right and these beautiful palm trees and, and Sydney is such a wonderful lushes, lushes city. I mean it is one of the topmost beautiful cities in the world and it really deserves that, that calling. So here we are, I say goodnight everyone, having an incredible time here training all across Australia with four city tour. And Casey I just wanted to say thank you, thank you for what you’re doing, everything you bring, I can never, I, I can never get enough of being on these calls with you and, and just the, the beauty and the elegance and it really, you are, you really captured the heart of Isagenix and, and I know again a lot of people listening and probably don’t know if they’re brand new that you’re the daughter of John Anderson, this wonderful formulator who, who, who brought Isagenix to life and, and so we thank you so, so much for the role you play in Isagenix so thank you.
>> Kjersti: Oh, thank you and you know it’s a pleasure to serve. I, I just, I think that what we’ve been able to see over the last seven years, little over seven years now has been truly amazing and I am indeed so grateful for my dad, I mean in what he’s been able to bring with the table and of course Jim and Kathy, I mean the company wouldn’t be, be the same without them and, and their dedication and their guidance especially over the last five years or so and I, I just, I think that all of the lives that have been impacted, it’s been phenomenal for, for me to actually kind of sit back and, and take a look and see what’s going on. This is… I’ve never experienced anything like this David. I mean when, when my dad told me that he was coming out of retirement, you know with and joining forces with Jim and Kathy Coover and, and, and he said network marketing, I said what? You know I mean I had no idea, but and, and of course they new the products would, would deliver because obviously we were guinea pigs at the very beginning to see what the products would actually do and it’s just has been so much fun. And so with that being said you know for everybody that’s listening in, I know that you know you, you came on full on about two and a half years ago, but tell everybody your experience with Isagenix prior and what you were doing prior and really what it looked like to you watching Isagenix grow from the outside and then of course coming in to the culture of Isagenix.
>> David: Well you know here I was. I was the personal train, a personal development trainer for the largest and fastest growing personal development company in the world, Peak Potential and you know I had the fortune to, to train you know in some year, hundred thousand students or more. So I was doing these massive events, four, five, six thousand people a weekend. You know and then doing some remarkable events up in the mountains, you know taking people on these incredible journeys through these programs, and, and what had happened was during that time I’d been introduced to the Isagenix products and I was using them. I’ve been using my full two years prior to ever having a conversation with Kathy and Jim Coover and you know being on the road as I was and being interested in health as I was, you know I, I discovered these products you know when I, I kind of went in under an alias name, because I was such a high profile trainer, I didn’t want my name used in conjunction with a company or you know that I favor one company over the another because a lot of my students came from different organizations, different network marketing companies, but I did find myself time and time again on stage referring back to you know this, this incredible product that I found, you know, it advertently sort slipping it out because I couldn’t shut up about it, but you know what was remarkable Kjersti after you know training all these students I would see people coming back again and again and again, you know because you know people wouldn’t come to one program, you know we, we had 14 or 15 different programs that we ran, so I see someone coming you know in January, I’d see him again in sort of April or you know for May, June-ish, you know I may see him again in November, December, so I may see the same student come back for different programs at least two or three times a year and I see them over two or three years and it was fascinating to me that you know not only the students but also our staff how stuck people seems still seem to be. You know after all this great stuff they were getting also the stuff they were getting, you know sort of stuff they were shoving into their ears, you know into their brain and they say, yeah and, and some people were moving forward of course and it changed my life. I went to their programs and certainly that there’s a life changing aspect to it, but I was really fascinated why, why it seemed so slow, it seemed slow like you know and, and I realized what was missing is we didn’t have a vehicle and so here I am absolutely committed to personal growth. Knowing that these training programs really had a place in people’s life and I’d seen what has happened to my life when I started investing in myself, I went years and years and years, almost two decades without ever investing in myself.
You know no personal development book, nothing. I just sort of thought you know I grow by osmosis you know and here I am you know I, I, I you know I’m fascinated but you know if you had a vehicle in conjunction with personal growth, a vehicle that was really built on the great foundation of, foundation of rock and what is greatest foundation to build anything on is our health. You know you look at anyone who’s on the death bed, you know who, who would trade every dollar they have to health, the vitality anyone who’s struggling with health, anyone who has ailment, anyone who’s, who’s slowed down by, by the rigors of age, you know everyone would trade everything they own, their home, their car everything for, for one more day of active healthy living you know and so you know having a foundation of health is critical, you know, and understanding that every single human being, everyone on this call right now it’s your birth right to be wealthy, wealthy. Everyone’s birth right is to be wealthy and it’s fascinating why some people are and some people aren’t. I mean I know it really is, there is that there is some key element in play there and we’ll talk about that during the call hopefully. But you know this sort of health and wealth but then there is this other part about growth. If we look at, this is what fascinates me, Kjersti is the idea that you know most of us, you know we buy nice suit, we drive nice cars, we live in nice houses, you think about the amount of money that we spend on our external look. The stuff that we know rings and bobos and earrings and all of the… our hair, I mean I, I can’t even imagine Kjersti even someone like you, you know I say someone like you who’s a mother of three children I’m sure that your hair, you know when you go and have your hair done there is an expense to that right and I’m I wouldn’t, I will guess what it is but I suppose most women are spending what 80 or $100 might be $150, might be $200, I don’t know on their hair every, every 90 days or 60 days and this is remarkable and then there’s this little matter between our ear, you know this most remarkable thing called the human in brain and, and it’s, they say that we’re using less than 10%, we are not even scratching the surface and I say much less than 10% of its capacity and this fascinates me.
It fascinates me that you know every second there is 400 billion bits of information that’s 400 billion with a B bits of information that are processed by the brain in our subconscious mind and 2000 processed by our conscious mind. So there are these things between our ears, this remarkable thing. I mean just think about it, if you want to see a miracle right now hold up your hand in front of you and put one thing to rub and then just bend it, to me that’s one of the greatest miracles reminds me of how remarkable we are human beings, how remarkable that I can think of thought and my finger moves in accordance with my thought and I feel very fortunate I have a hand that I have fingers, but what a miracle that is, you know the human body, the human capacity and so I really, really I realize that what we need is we needed a vehicle of growth, a community of growth that wraps around people’s desire than dream, so that you’re not just getting personal growth, you’re not getting one of the elements, you need all of the elements. You know in our new program ultimate wealth which we’re releasing later on in the year for the Isagenix associates, you know I talked about the wealth triangle. You know I talked about you know relationship, health and money, that’s the wealth triangle, you know those three elements. Health is that foundation relationship, being in relationship, you know being in community, being in a community that cares the most people, here’s the are getting stopped not only by their own thought process and will go into that but also by their environment. You know they’re surrounded by people that don’t that really don’t, that don’t see greatness in them, they don’t call greatness in them, they don’t ask more from them. We live in communities where we are actually told you know just accept your lot in life, you know people to love us, you know every time we step out or trying step up, quite often they drag us back down into this sort of you know this sort of mundane into the ordinary. I don’t believe why we should be ordinary, I feel life should be extraordinary, I believe its everyone’s birth right to have an extraordinary life. And I look at the that, that last day, that last breath we breathe, you know I don’t I mean think about it, everyone on the call right now whether you’re brand new in Isagenix or seasoned leaded, I know that we attract all, I mean thousands of people will listen to this call over time right as they can, this live call today and also the pre-record, the recording later on, the people coming to over and over and over again, but just think about that, the capacity that we have as human beings is remarkable.
>> Kjersti: Absolutely and you know what’s, it’s, it’s amazing to me that you know to really take a look at what we truly have in our hands and when we have products that get us healthy. We have fantastic financial vehicle to help with our wealth of our lives and then it, boy, I’ll well when you said that the amount of money that people spend on the external appearances rather than focusing on what’s inside whether it’s a personal development or the products to get you healthy and, and to keep you healthy mentally, physically, emotionally that, that would stop me in my, I just couldn’t believe, it just have never really thought about that and I, so when, when you look at Isagenix David and you see that you know we have a vehicle for health, we have a vehicle for wealth, but yet you know and people get excited, they go on the products, have amazing product story, but when, when it comes to them achieving goals, sometimes they kind of you know they stall out or, or they, they end up not achieving them, may be quite like what they had sought. So what, what can you share with us when it comes to goal setting, when it comes to knowing that even though you’ve got this perfect vehicle placed in front of you that, that you can do it. What are some tips?
>> David: That’s a great questions. I suppose I want to ask by asking this question just to give us a point of reference. You know how tall will a tree grow as tall as it possible can. You know and humans have been given the dignity of choice and consequently can always choose and here’s the word, always choose to grow more. You know and I, I talk about you know that you know that to, to really lead an extraordinary life okay and I’ll get back to your question as I sort of answer this in full, you know I believe we must develop a child like fascination for life and people, you know in order to discover that extraordinary life that extraordinary life and I think about Jimmy Smith. Now for those of you who are brand new, Jimmy Smith is our number one income earner and when we look at his life, he truly has an extraordinary life because he’s 81. He truly, I mean if you, I can put him against a 50-year-old, but certainly a 60-year-old and then I mean, I mean the guy has got energy, he’s got the largest heart, he has, he has a more money, he makes more money, he makes four or five or six times more than the president of the United States right now and this and his income keeps going up, Jimmy Smith’s I mean, not the President of the United States. His family is remarkable, he has a remarkable family, I mean him and his two daughters have earned closed to $18 million dollars in the last six years at Isagenix and he’s a, all of his children now, all seven children are engaged fully in the business of Isagenix. His whole family is in there. He wants to create a legacy. He has more love, more friendship, he, he is here in Australia right now. And I, and he’s come up to Australia to share his gift, 81 in contribution how he contributes. You know last year he gave over 100,000 dollars to child health. Recognition, I mean, he’s, he’s recognized everywhere he goes.
I call him Jimmy the extraordinary butcher. Now Jimmy fascinates me. See and then when you listen to Jimmy Smith and he tells you what to do, it all seems so simple so how come everyone you know on the call isn’t making over $200,000 a month. You see it’s one thing for Jimmy to tell you what he’s doing, but it’s a whole other thing to you to actually do it. You see the funny thing is we got two people on the call right now. Let’s take two of the associates from the call. Let’s say you both been in for the same length of time, you both had access to the same leader, you both live in the same town, you both have the same $17 million website, you both attend the same trainings and you’re on the same call and you’re on this call as well, but you’re on the same training calls, in fact everything is identical, but one of you enjoy incredible success of Isagenix and what you think happens to the other one, right. Well typically what happens is not a whole lot all. Oh they quit this is one of the great rules, you know, it’s remarkable how many people come in, they, they get a taste of this and then they say something like this, oh it doesn’t work, that’s not true, it works, it absolutely works, it works as modeled all around us, every second the product works, the income potential works, the community works, the training works, of course it works. You know but the thing is that at one point you’re going to get to a point and some of you listen to me right now because you may be on that verge right now of saying oh it’s not working and you’re going to walk away from the greatest opportunity you’ve ever been given. Now why, because we’re creatures of habit and unfortunately most people, many people are in the habit of not succeeding to their greatest potential. Most people are in the habit of not going what they could in order to get what they want and most people are in the habit of not take an action.
Now I wonder to how many of you on the call right now relate to what I’m talking about in the habit of not taking action. You know you should and I would say don’t should all over yourself right? You know you should do something alright, but you simply don’t and we’ll talk about that at the end of the call, remind of that Kjersti I call the action around the word should, so right that one down so we don’t forget that, alright. So why don’t we simply change our non-supportive habit, why because most of our habits are subconscious. We do them on some kind of cosmic autopilot and in fact there is a scientific name for this autopilot and every single one of you on the call have this autopilot, this is exciting because if you know that you have it and you know what it does, you can start to realize your patterns and your habits and why every time to get close to success or every time you start something that could potentially be what you’re looking for you end up quitting or moving away from it and it’s call the psyche, psycho cybernetic mechanism. Now I’d like to call it a psycho, I like to keep things really, really, really simple. There is a psycho living in our head, a psycho, the psycho cybernetic mechanism. It’s, it’s our autopilot or thermostat in the brain and it gives up a chemical reaction every time it senses physical or emotional danger, in fact every single time we attempt to leave that comfort zone alright. So I would the call the comfort zone by the way it’s like a safety zone and there’s a lot of you right now on the call who are living in your safety zone, you’re living in where it’s comfortable, you know and I would say you know what’s a rut, you get into a rut, you get into the mundane into the ordinary, life should not be mundane, it should not be ordinary, it should be extraordinary, right. So what happens is I would say you know what is a rut, it’s, it’s a grade with the ends kicked out, but as our safety zone, our comfort zone is the box that we end up living in and here’s what’s remarkable as I studied this more and more and more is that our comfort zone isn’t one comfort zone, we don’t have one comfort zone, we have thousands of comfort zone because our comfort levels for example you know let’s say in sports may be massive where our comfort zone having an intimate conversation with our spouse might be tiny, our comfort zone and you know our patience with our children may be tiny or it may be massive. So our comfort zone is completely you know it’s different for every aspect of our life, our comfort zone changes, right. So and here’s what exciting, our comfort zone matches our money zone.
You know when we look at the results in our life, if I ask each one of you in the call right now to look into your bank balance, look into your savings account, look into your investment portfolio, look into your retirement fund and ask yourself the question is would you like more there and I haven’t met anyone yet, by the way, I mean even Jimmy would like to have more, because he wants to make more of a difference. It’s not about him having more money, they guy’s got more money than you know but he wants to contribute even a higher level, you know and so I was… made me laugh, I used to live in a small town Kjersti in Kaslo in the Kootenay in Canada, 800 people and there was… we always laugh, you know that one, one of my neighbors was a what we call a tree hugger or environmentalist and I’m an environmentalist, so I can say that with love, right tree hugger we called him right and the other side was a logger, you know because we lived in a small town where logging and mining was very, very you know adamant there and all of my friends who were environmentalists you know a lot of end up living up in the bush in little tepees and they grew beards and you know and they, and, and I still talk to them, I say do you really want to change, do you really want to contribute, do you really want to effect change in the world and they say yeah we do want to save these trees. I’ll say well go buy the tree, be successful, I mean use your money to create the change you want, it’s everyone’s birthright, but you’re sitting there in a tepee, chaining yourself to the three, isn’t going to get it done, so why not, why don’t we do something about it right. So anyway, so what I, what I want to talk about then is a cycle, it’s like an invisible electric field around us and it zaps us every time we attempt to grow. Now this is important, imagine not knowing this, imagine not knowing why every time we try and grow. You join Isagenix and you get, you suddenly see the dream, you, you meet Jimmy Smith or you see, you hear one of these stories, you’re on one of these calls right now, you hear my voice, you hear the excitement in my voice and you start to say oh yeah I want this, I want this, I want this, I and of your comfort zone around going out and speaking to people it’s quite small, right, let’s say and so as soon as you step out, you go to speak to someone they say no to you right suddenly that this invisible electric field around you and you get that zapped, alright.
Every time you attempt to grow. Now you’re growing no new muscle. So you are going a new muscle and this, this is like a chemical warfare in the brain and every time we attempt to leave the confine of what we have come to know is normal that when the chemical raise happens it’s interpreted as danger, alright. Now again I want to reiterate, you may be listening on the call right now is one of our Isagenix millionaires, it’s still applies to you because it may apply in a different area of your life, you may have the muscle that’s really, really big and your comfort zones really expansive in the area of going to talking to people and sharing Isagenix, but may be it’s your relationship at home or you know the relationships with your kids or may be your physical body. Again it’s really important to understand that this affects all areas of our life. So, so what we’re going to do is we’re going to figure out how we got our comfort zone. So if we look back, we know that every time we try and expand through our comfort zone, we get zapped, this chemical feeling in our body, it releases and get what it feels like. It feels like fear, apprehension, doubt, uncertainty, here’s a big one, uncertainty. It doesn’t have to be this big fear thing, even when we’re uncertain, a little bit of doubt, a little bit of uncertainty and it’s enough to change us energetically, so that when we go and speak to someone we don’t have conviction, we don’t have certainty, we have doubt for small amount because there’s a chemical attack going on the body, alright. But most of our comfort zone came from conditioning or programs we received as a small child and here’s an interesting fact and again I hope I get this right. At birth, your brain contains a hundred billion neurons, a hundred billion neurons, capable of performing 10 quadrillion operations per second. There’s more brain cells in our head than there are stars in the milky way, so the next time you look at the milky way, I want you to think at the capacity that lays between our ears, right. Now the child, child’s brain cells are raw materials of the mind, but they’re not the mind, the mind of a child lives in the connections between the cells and our environment, this is huge, our environment determines which connections are made. So as a small child then we’re like sponges for conditioning and Kjersti let me ask you a question, what are some of the primary sources of conditioning that we get hit with as a child.
>> Kjersti: I’m sorry, repeat the question David.
>> David: What are some of the primary sources of conditioning that we receive as a child like, churches, or you know media, what are some of the ones that you see like your kids, what, what are some of the influences that how they’re getting conditioned right now, all the things around, outside of your own control. Obviously you’re one of them parents, right. What are some of the other ones?
>> Kjersti: Well obviously church like you said I mean going out to church every Sunday. School, you know, I mean they spend just as much of their more than their waking hours at school during the day, Monday through Friday than they do at home before it’s time to tuck them in and go night, night. Family, I mean they’re exposed to extended family, friends outside of school, also TV and, and movies and you know anything that have to do with electronical devices. There’s a lot of…
>> David: …isn’t that a big one right now, I mean I have boys, and I know I watch all boys you see them out there and they typically they want, they’re drawn to these electronic devices, the stimulation. So it’s the things that we heard, the things that we saw, and the specific emotional incidences that happen of our life and that’s our conditioning. So want to know how well why is your comfort zone for example some of you listening right now, why is your comfort zone around going and sharing something that can truly impact someone’s life, truly make a difference, truly change someone’s life, and yet we get stopped, we hit this wall, this wall of uncertainty, doubt, and fear. Well now we know it’s just because we’re growing. I always have this joke, here I grow again, here I grow again, right. Pat yourself on the back when you feel that doubt, fear, and uncertainty because it’s just the chemical release in the body, but it’s the interpretation that we put to it based on the things we heard in our lives, the things we store in our life and specific emotional incidents, incidents, and incidences, sorry say that fast, but slowly we begin to make up a story of how the world is and of who we need to be in order to survive not thrive and those stories become our perceptions and our belief and in the end everything we have, this is a huge statement, everything we have in our life and everything we don’t have in our life becomes a reflection of our belief system or the story that we’re telling ourselves. So, Gandhi said, he said people become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe that I cannot do something, it makes be incapable of doing it, but when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn’t have it in the beginning and the thing about beliefs is this, you know belief is simply a thought that we believe to be true. It doesn’t make it true, but they’re not true, they’re not false, they’re not right, but they’re not wrong, but they can be empowering, they can be disempowring, alright. But when we see how this whole thing that, that you know we realize that how we perceive the world, how we perceive the Isagenix business, our success, who we are as people, our ourselves where there is nothing more than Kjersti that our of reality, the story we’ve made up, based on this journey that we’ve had, you know and that’s where these little comfort zones come from, so if we know that, if we know then we’re living a story that we’ve made up in order to survive in the world and that we know then an environment like Isagenix, this is where we want to get excited on the phone yet, when we start saying look you know what all I got to do I can expand my comfort zone and in expanding my comfort zone I’m going expand who I am as a person and when I expand who I am as a person then more money will be because you know that our money zone, our comfort zone is this is you know, it’s, it’s a same thing and that’s why somebody who wins a lottery, you know you hear these all the times if someone wins a lottery and a 12 months later they’re more miserable and they’re more broke than they were when they started because they haven’t grown enough and the beautiful about this journey called Isagenix is that we will grow and as we grow, we will allow more money in and more friendships and more riches, and it’s who we become because of this journey, who we become because of this journey and if we look at this you know that’s why if someone says no to Jimmy Smith, he gets excited now.
See his filter, his, his belief system, and his story around the word no is very, very different from someone of you listening out, it fires him up. See for many people the word no is, I don’t like you, you’re not go enough, you’re a failure, get a real job. No and for me if we realize that we’re not in the convincing business, we’re not in a selling business, we’re in the sorting business. We’re sorting, we’re looking for people that are looking for us and you know what Kirkman says this. He said that if people knew how many people at night are praying for an answer, an answer to the health crisis, that they’re going through in their own lives and their families or an answer to their wealth problems that they’re having, the financial problems that they’re having and especially now, look at the world right now, the financial situation of world right now has never been like this, in history, human history, alright and so here we have people we’ve got people praying, begging for an answer, something that come out of their life to help them, to help them on to a path to, to reclaim their lives and we have the answer. All we got to do is share it with them and you know when someone says no to us instead of getting excited, which is what Jimmy does, Jimmy gets excited because he realizes he’s just not that person’s time, he’s not on the convincing business, he’s in a business that’s looking for people who are looking for him and he gets excited. He has a very, very strong filter, a very strong belief system around the word, no, so do I. I get excited if someone says no, I jus realize it’s not that time then you just get back in the connection with them, who cares, your business has 6 billion people and all you’re looking for is two, two people that really want what you have, and when you find them, guess what, you won’t be able to stop them, you won’t be able to stop them because you know what they’re looking, they, they, they desperately want it and you must see this a lot Kjersti how many times people spend so much time with the wrong people in the convincing business. They spend all this time and energy and that person in not really engaged anyway and then they get disillusioned and, and they get hard on themselves. You must see that a lot, right?
>> Kjersti: Oh yeah, absolutely. I mean people and people that’s you know again they, it goes back to rejection, rejection, rejection. People feeling bad, then closing the door, stepping back into that comfort zone that you’re talking about and not actually wanting to go out and to do it again and again and again and I love what you said, it’s like growing the muscle. You know when you first are, you know starting to work out, you know the fatigue, you know you shake a little bit, you know when you’re trying to push, do some pushups, your arms, your shoulders are weak and, but the more you do the stronger you get and I’ve actually, I can attest for that, I, I really have a found a lot of my own strengths in the journey that I’ve been going though in the last seven years and I’m just beginning, I can’t wait to see what, what’s going to take place in my life over the next several decades. It’s going to be exciting.
>> David: Oh you know, Rob Alan says that, he says you can have anything you want if you can only give up the, the belief that you can, you can have anything you want if you give up the belief that you can and here’s an interesting fact. By the time you’re 17 years of age, you’ve heard the word no a 150,000 times and you’ve heard the word yes only 5000 times that’s 30 nos to every yes, which means most people on this call have an ingrained belief of I can’t, I can’t do it and that’s the big question of people have when they come to Isagenix, one of the most important questions is can I do this. You know and that’s why when we take somebody on, if you look at Joni. Why she is an eleven star crystal executive, which means that, that 11 people that she’s personally enrolled have become, come on the become crystal executives and, and that’s why she has this incredible team under her because when she signs somebody up, it’s a lifetime commitment for her. She realizes this is journey, she’s going to be there with them and for them and understand that they have, going to have to grow through into a kind of a new person. Think of a snake shedding its skin, I love this analogy, you know and I think that’s Isagenix is like. Its kind of, it’s the more effort we put in, the more times we shed our skin is like we just grow and Kjersti you must have seen that with so many of the leasers that you’re friends with. You see how their lives, their relationships, their, their truth, you know who they are, their courage, I mean how it’s just growing and changing, look at Kim Olson, she’s a great example. Somebody who’s a 156 pounds overweight, 0 confidence and I could go on and on and on in the lowest income bracket, here she is like one of and she’s just this powerful woman now that stands on stage and demands attention, she has this sparkle in her eye you know and I mean where does that exist in the real world where somebody who, who really because I mean, you’ve heard this a lot, you know being heavy, it’s only, one of the, the few things that people laugh at, I mean people openly laugh at people who are heavy, I mean, think of that or imagine journeying through where she is right now, standing up on stage in front of 6000 people at celebration and really talking greatness in, into people and, and you’re retiring a husband becoming an amazing trainer, I mean isn’t that remarkable Kjersti? Doesn’t that just get your juices going?
>> Kjersti: It does, it really does and I’ll, I’ll tell you I remember when I met him for the very first time and I remember she really didn’t all… have that much to say. You talk about shy, she was so shy and, and so sweet, willing to give even just two and a half years ago when I, I remember at that first event that you and Michelle put on for the top leaders. Kim actually volunteered at that event, she was, she was there because she wanted to help and I remember she was helping with registration, so of course she know as people were coming in, they were registering and I remember thinking what an amazing woman, but I, I could see how shy she was and how she was really stretching herself, putting herself behind a table where people would actually be asking her questions and now she’s up on stage.
>> David: Yeah, no, it’s remarkable. Not only on stage, that twinkle, that twinkle in her eye that knowing that, that she can contribute at a very high level. I mean I was talking about her the other day, we are here in Australia and I’m, I was doing a training, I did a journey to the stage here and you know when I was sharing that for those story is that the ripple in her pond, you know imagine this woman, imagine that’s all when we get to that final breath that we want to know that our life meant something that we contributed, that we made a difference, right, and here she is, I mean her, her story is reaching around the world as well some of you on the call here. Those of you don’t want this and realize that it is a journey and that you know if you are not making as much money as you want, it’s just even could grow into this kind of new person and it will happen and that’s the beauty, that’s what was missing in Peak Potentials when I was there, is that people just _ went back home to their toxic environment around their toxic friends. When I say toxic environments because that’s the great thing about Isagenix, you know we cleanse the inside but truly what happens is when you start to hang out with people that are on purpose that see greatness in you regardless of if you’re big, heavy, whether you’re bold, whether you’re bad skin, or no teeth or lots of teeth, it doesn’t matter, we don’t care, we just, we see greatness in everyone, that’s a beauty of our culture. Our culture is remarkable so when you get into that size of environment and the environment of growth, what happens is you’re not going back to the toxic world where you’re being pulled down again and pulled back and that’s what happened to these programs.
People would come, they get on. They’d be in this wonderful environment, everyone was loving each other and hugging each other and you know blah, blah, blah and then they have to go back to the real world and face it all alone. Well that doesn’t happening because guess what you plug into next call and yes you’re going to go through fear, doubt and uncertainty. You have to. And that’s what so refreshing about why I want to talk about this, this morning, Kjersti is the fact that we if we know that we have to feel those feelings and then what we do is we become accustomed to them and in the end we don’t notice and Jimmy doesn’t even notice them any more. So it’s just a new muscle and when we get to that point we become, we become like a magnet, we become attractive because this is an uncertain world. If you look at the news, which I mean hopefully you don’t, but let’s say you do, you look around you, the uncertainty in people, people are looking for certainty, they want something to follow, they want to believe that’s why I think president Obama, you know when he talked about having 2 million people there when he got inaugurated, right, what happened was he was… he established a level of hope in people, right and so what happened I mean that hope is an incredible thing and I think people on the call right now it doesn’t matter what you’re thinking, you may have that little yacky voice in the back of your head like the rest of us that you know as often saying things that you know can I do this, you know, I’m not good enough, you know, I’m too fat, I’m this, I’m that, that’s the imposter. There’s two characters I like to talk about. One is the psycho, which is this chemical race, you can see that, it’s just you just feel it, you feel down and uncertainty. The imposter, the voice, now Kjersti you and I’ve done some work on this, it’s that negative voice, you get out of bed in the morning, you look in the mirror and it says oh you look like crap, you know that voice, I mean imagine if your voice was a cheerleader, imagine everything you ever did, there was a cheerleader in your head that said, way to go, great job, oh my god you’re amazing, I can’t believe you did that, wow, lovely, that not what we have, we have the opposite, we have this voice that’s constantly on our case.
Constantly undermining us, right? That’s the imposter. Now that’s not you that’s the story, that’s the story that who we learnt to be in order to survive in this world, not thrive that’s a story that’s all of it and that’s what I get people to do, journey to the stage and, and the art of connection. You know which is a program coming up in June that I urge you to be at the Art of Connection where you can start to understand these things. When you understand you’re not that voice in your head, that negative voice that lives there all the time is constantly yacking at us. When you know that’s not you and you realize they know that that true self who we were born to be and then this who we learned to be in order to survive and that’s that voice of that and that’s that constant nagging and we have to shut it up and we have to have strategy to do that. Se when we hear it like do we go to do something and we hear our voice you know they won’t like you anyway, you can’t do that. Who do you think you are, that’s a great one? Who do you think you are, that’s your voice talking to you. You got to shut it out. And you just go to stop that and you got to reinforce yourself with a positive thought right now because it becomes, it’s just nothing well than a program. Its just a habit of sort and your persistent thought that programs your autopilot and it will determine the size and the parameter of your comfort zone, which habits and beliefs reside there and when you talk about habits, Warren Buffet said the greatest thing I ever heard, he says this, he says that the change of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken and that’s why so many people on the call right now. You, you ask yourself, do you want more, more in your life, more in your relationships, more out of every part of your life to have an exciting and extraordinary life. Do you want that, of course you do? Right? But quite often we’re in the habit, the habit of not succeeding, the habit of not trying, the habit, so this is what Warren Buffet said again, that the change of habit a too light to be felt, you don’t know that you, you, you got these chain on until that’s too heavy to be broken and it just becomes our way of being and that’s why being in a constant environment Kjersti of change and growth is so extraordinary that’s why I love Isagenix, I mean that’s where the question started, so anyway I’m excited.
>> Kjersti: I know you are and you know your excitement is incredibly contagious and, and what you’re, what you’re teaching here is something that most people like they don’t even think about like you said they go, they go every single morning, they look at themselves in the mirror and they, they hear and all those negativity coming forth so they’ve beaten themselves up several times ever before they even leave the house to go to interact with, with you know their community and, and society and it’s amazing that we actually succeed much as we do. So what, what are some of the tips for success that you could give people as they’re moving forward in this, in this next coming week because I know that you’ve got two amazing events that you’re going to be putting on in June which will get to the information here in just a little bit about that but what, you know what, where would someone start, you know starting tomorrow or even today of, of where to begin, what are some of the beginning stuffs to moving forward in their personal growth, it’s success in Isagenix, I know it takes time and I know it takes you know dedication but what are some of the things that they could actually get started doing today.
>> David: Well, I, I’m going to say this that there is a couple of things, but first of all we need to be kind of ourselves, you know and we need to know that we live you. I had a guy just to the states here in Australia in Sydney the other day and, and he stood up and he didn’t realize that he was not the only person on the planet that had this negative talk going on his head constantly. He thought it was just him and it was remarkable. You should see him, I saw him yesterday. Three days after the program, it’s almost like this big weight lifted off his shoulder when he realized that wasn’t him. You know so I think being kind to our self and realizing that you know we all did the best we can with what we have and that your journey is perfect, it doesn’t matter, it’s not about comparing journeys and you know I spend hours on the phone right now talking about my childhood and you know I had trouble, I was in trouble with the police and you know I went through a lot of physical abuse and I mean, I’m not saying, I’m not minimizing that, but that’s not me, that’s just my story, that’s just what happened in my life, but I don’t have a story around it, it’s not the story I used to say because I grew you know in poverty and, and, and I grew up in a, in a really abusive kind of environment, that doesn’t make me who I am. You know that we have choices… right now on this call right now, it’s about only one of your, listening right now, choose, choose differently and so you know I, I’m going to recreate my life, I’m going to reinvent myself, I’m going to stop listening to this negative self thought and I’m going to start saying the word instead of I can’t is I can, alright and then understanding is a process, but I want to say one thing yes it takes time if you think it takes time, but there is people in our company right now, Jen Smith, I mean she, she went to over a half a million dollars of income in her first year, why, because she doesn’t have a story that says she can’t. Why did Roger Bannister break the four minute mile and why is it that year you know for hundreds of years since the time of the first Olympian they try to break the four minute mile, couldn’t do it. Roger Bannister comes along in Reading, England, right and he breaks on one you know, Sunday afternoon, right, here he is, he breaks the four minute mile, in fact it was drizzling that day and what happened, 17 people the next year break the four minute mile, 17, why because they believe they can. Isn’t that remarkable? See whether you believe you can or whether you believe you can’t, you are right, the truth is you’re going to make up a story anyway, you always have. We always make up a story, we always deal with story making up machines. Why not make a story that supports you, that’s supports you achieving an extraordinary life, that supports you exploding your Isagenix business, that supports you in being an incredible parent, lover or friend. So, so if you don’t then your story that you’re presently playing becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. This is a remarkable thing. You know when we have that whole idea, you know of, of living into this story, you know we walking up to someone and we want to share Isagenix, but in our head we sort of start making up a story about their, we, we start what’s the word, we, we start thinking about what they’re going to say, so we say oh, they’re not going to like it anyway or why would they listen to me, I’m you know I, I, they, they earn a hundred thousand dollars a year, I only earn 20, they are not going to be you know, you know that kind of thing. We have that story, I mean if anyone listening on the call you know what I am talking about, I am too. You know and this is constant we prejudge. So what happens is as we start to judge, we start to make up a story, energetically we change inside our energy changes. So by the time we got to that person, our energy is so low and we can divide it, we don’t… when they see us they, they fee the energy force, they feel that we don’t have the and why would they follow that. So what we’re going to do is we really going to start practicing and that’s why I, I encourage people to get to like the Art of Connection. Well we can put to, to one process after another where you can practice these things in a safe environment where you can build this muscle, where you can grow this muscle, where you can have it so that you can accelerate your way to success and here’s a big thing, you got to look into your environment right now. You know they say, you know that you become the sum of the five people you spend the most time with, alright, check it out.
Who you’re spending time with, who sees greatness in you, who bring you down or pulling you down? I say to some people it’s time to be divorce some of these friendships. It’s time to start spending less time with those people that don’t see greatness in you and start hanging out with people that do and I promise you when you enter through the Isagenix store, you’re going to surrounded by people, people you don’t even know who are calling for your success, people who you even met yet, thousands of them who are saying I want you to succeed and if you need anything, you just call me right now and that’s… in those moments of doubt in the beginning, but where do we start, we have to start with knowing why, why do we want this. See if you’re why is not big enough, the first time you hit a wall you know you’re going to get stopped and Randy says this, you know in, in his wonderful last lecture, the walls aren’t there to keep this out, the walls are there to see if we want it bad enough. We all hit the wall ladies and gentleman, some of us don’t even notice, we just blast right through it. Jen Smith blasted through every wall that ever existed. She set a new paradigm. there’s another couple who had just like boom, you know they’re on fire, they are moving forward, you can’t tell them how slow to go, you can’t tell them this is a slow building business, they don’t believe you. They have a whole new paradigm of their own, boom. And that’s what it’s like, it’s whatever the story you’re telling yourself will manifest itself in a reality. So you know those walls you got to know, you’re going to hit them, you got to know that you’re going to fall down and here’s what I would say, when you fall down don’t forget to pick something up, you’re going to learn from every experience and every time you fall down, every time you’re overcome with this doubt and this fear on Sunday, I want you to pack to yourself on the back and say here I grow again that’s what happening, you are in the process of growth. Now typically what happens when we hit that wall is most of us shrink back from it. Now what I want you to do is I want you to understand, every time move forward, plug into a call, listen to this call again, listen to something, get yourself around positive people, but totally take control of the toxic environment you live in. If you’re around people, you know how you feel around them.
I mean if you’re, if you’re around people that are bringing you down anyway, divorce yourself from them. You know don’t spend as much time with them, get around more positive feelings and that’s what’s going to help you, so but getting clear on your wise. Spend 45 minutes after this call and write why you want this, really allow yourself, awaken your dreams again, most people have forgotten how to dream Kjersti, most people don’t know how to dream, alright, they just don’t, they’ve forgotten, they’re just there accepting their lot in life. They are on some kind of you know, some kind of like this is it, this is my life right now and we’ve seen enough Kjersti, we’ve seen enough people, I mean we have people who’ve gone out on the streets collecting bottles to buy their first program and now they’re making over a $100,000 a year and they’ve just begun. So I think first Kjersti is knowing why and that why needs to be big, it needs to be burning, it needs to be bigger than the obstacles you’re going to hit, so it really worth spending time there and the realistic goal. You know I mean we talk about this I mean we’ve such a, we’re really simplifying our program, talking to, connecting with and that’s why I want you to get to the Art of Connection and in my CD programs I talk about this a lot, you know, is that you know your ability to connect, learning how to get back in the conversation. You know I just did a program on the island on, before I left for Australia, you know, a few weeks ago and here I’m on the island, you know, and we’ve got some of our top leaders, six stars there and I put them into a process where they have to get into a simple conversation with people in the room and there was at least this four of them stood up and said, you know, one person had known this girl for 16 years, one for 15 years, one for 17 years, these guys have known each other and what they said is in that few minutes they learned more about that person than they had in 17 years. Even though they considered themselves to be friends and that’s the thing you know we have to get back into this curiosity, be interested in people. The Art of Connection, we’re not going out there to recruit and drag people in this business, we are going out here to get a connection to discover people, to find out what is their passions, what is it they want in their lives, what do they want, because we have the answer for almost everything, you know, whether it’s, whether you want to have a richer, richer friendships, whether you want to have incredible health, whether you want to have extraordinary amount of money, well it doesn’t matter, great residual income, you know, and get excited about that first check. Jimmy Smith said when he got that 7 dollar check he got excited, he was so grateful. A lot of you when your first check comes, oh, it’s only 7 bucks. A lot of you right now, I hear it, I hear it all the time people say, I’m only earning a hundred dollars a week.
What, that’s incredible as a residual income a hundred dollars a week, do you know how much money you had to have invested at 5% to get a hundred dollars a week? Residual income and you just started, this is where you’ve got to be grateful. So really coming from a place of gratitude, Kjersti, where an attitude of gratitude being grateful, spending every… when you wake up in the morning, the first thought that goes through your head force yourself into an attitude of gratitude before the negative voice gets in, oh God, got to get up got to do this, got to do that, right. So I think that that big Y, get realistic goals, go and talk, start connecting with two new people a day, two new people a day and in the beginning you don’t even need to speak about Isagenix if you don’t want to, you’re looking for people they’re looking for you. You know, and again what we do is we teach this incredible process of how to create curiosity, so people are going to ask you what Isagenix is and that’s beautiful when they give you permission as I and we don’t need to verbal vomit all over them. So again, get clear on your life, set some realistic goals, realistic goals. Now, for example, here’s another one, meet people where they are at. You know, so often I see people trying to sell a million dollar lifestyle to someone who’s only making 30,000 dollars a year. Oh you can become a millionaire, that person, all they want is an extra 200 or 300 dollars a month and it would change everything for them. Let’s get them to what they want, if that’s what they need, let’s sell them the 200 or 300 dollars a month, let’s get them there and celebrate like crazy and then set some new goals for them, but don’t be selling a million dollar lifestyle to someone when really their issue is they needed extra 200 dollars a month to make a car payment or they need an extra 500 dollars a month like Susan Flye to put her son into a private school where he could excel that was big for her, that was her why so that she could have her son go to a private school. Well listen, if I was trying to sell her the million bucks instead of the few hundred dollars she needed to put him into school, guess what, now Kjersti, there’s lots of things, but I think starting off right making sure you plug into the system, plug in, make sure you’re surrounded by people and that they say a great coach will ask more of you than you’ll ever ask of yourself. Those are the kinds of people you want around you, you want people that are challenging you, that are asking more of you. So, Kjersti, I have no idea what the time is, I know I’m going, I’m getting excited, so you better check in with me, how are wee doing for time?
>> Kjersti: Well we’re coming up. We have just a couple of minutes left, but I love your tips for getting started and then of course I want to talk about the events, but before I do that I remember you know in conversation one time and I remember sharing this on Lenny’s call because it was so profound to me is that when people are setting goals, you know, and you kind of you know you have the daily grind of things whether it’s, you know, the job or, you know, house, keeping up with the house or raising your beautiful children, whatever it is, when you said David to plug in, to plug into things, I could not help but think I had this epiphany one time and it was plug into things whether you feel like it or not knowing that that is the best thing for you because you know you get into this slow funk, you know, and I’m kind of, oh yeah, I don’t know, you know then and then you put it off and then you don’t do it, and then it’s and then your fire starts to dim a little here and a little there and a little there whereas if you, if you plug in daily like what you’re recommending, you’re constantly stoking the fire, the fire is growing, it’s, it’s becoming bigger and it and things really get excited that’s where you generate your excitement from your, your, the heat and the passion comes from that and so my, my little thing that I was, I got into the habit of telling myself was plug in whether I feel like it or not right now because once I’m in, I’m, I’m going to, it’s, it’s going to get me excited and, and not that I have that issue now because, you know, I mean, I, I live, eat, breathe Isagenix, but you know, how you have tendencies, I’m not perfect, I mean there’s things that you know I, I fight with myself all the time and so I just wanted to add that little thing here. What do you think about that plug in whether you feel like it or not?
>> David: Oh, it’s, it’s divine, I mean it really is, it’s, because that’s always what it is. You see our feelings, listen to this, our thoughts, remember what I said to you, we become a thought pattern, we have thought habits based on our, based on our journey through life, you know I mean one time your father may have turned around and said, you know, you’ll never amount to anything. You know, we carry that for our whole life and then we live into that reality. So our thoughts lead to how we feel, right, our feelings lead to how we act, our actions give us our results. Now here’s the thing when we look at the results in our lives, just simply do a quick check, look in your bank balance, look in your families, look in your relationships, look in your intimacy, look at everything, right your physical body and ask yourself some questions, and if you’re not getting what you want, alright the results aren’t there, you have to take it back to how you’re thinking, you have to change the way you think, which would change the way you feel, which would change the way the actions that you’re willing to take, right, and here’s the beauty of it you know, you know when we start talking about you know feelings and thoughts, thoughts and feelings. If I ask each of you right now, challenge you, just sort of sit down and then maybe get your checkbook out and write a hundred thousand dollar check or a million dollar check and make it out to charity to child health, just write it and just see yourself in a position in five to ten years from now, or seven years and that’s the other thing realistic, three to five year plan, ladies and gentleman, this isn’t get rich quick, you know, you’re on the wrong bus if you think you’re going to come in here and speak to one person a month and this business is going to work for you, guess what, no it’s not, it will work for you, it’s only the products will for you for the rest of your life, you want to be on for life, but if you want to build a business, get real, alright.
This isn’t a… I’m just going to do as little as possible and hope it works. No, the question is this if you want more out of your life, do more, you know, but it starts with how you think and how you feel. So try this, write the million dollar check and then put yourself into a state that you are actually earning that kind of money where you could write a million dollar check to charity, a one time payment. Start to feel it and then go back to a time in your life where you were totally invincible, totally untouchable where you had that Midas touch. There must be a time whether it’s at a sports event or you know when things were just on a roll you felt totally energized. Go back there, and relive, how did you feel at that point, how did you move, and then start to move and walk around your living room like that and really get engaged, look in the mirror and engage yourself back to a time of extreme, extreme power where you felt most powerful, then walk outside, then get on the phone call, but you have to engage and you can, and I get people to do this at events all the time, I get you to model a feeling of becoming a multimillionaire. How would you feel it five years from now, you’re a multimillionaire, leading the life of your dreams, everything that has ever come true, you know, you’re contributing at the highest level, how would you move, feel, and think and then start thinking that way and watch what happens.
Your physiology changes and here’s the thing it’s most of us we don’t understand that’s just change of physiology, start walking with earnest and start, open your chest up, breathe differently and go out there and start to be, be and you become attractive, I’m not talking about attractive on the outside, I’m talking about your energy, you see, energy attracts like energy, we’re all energy beings that’s what it is and we’re all connected, all energy is connected and that’s why you can walk into a room and someone who’s down, who’s you know, who’s having dark thoughts, how they can affect you immediately, they don’t have to say a word, you’re immediately affected. Well guess what, you’re affecting all things around you too and what I say is this if you want to change the world, change your world, start to notice, go first, smile at people. When you go into the store, ask questions, just be, be interested in your life. You know walking, walk down new streets, go new ways to work, get excited, but walk with passion and what’s going to happen is people are going to see in you something they want and that’s what happens all the time is when and you’re going to go from the point of not believing a 100% that’s where you’ll start, everyone starts in the same place, you know, your belief systems are low to a point of total belief, and when you get there, then you’re going to look, sound, and feel like Jimmy Smith and anyone who sits in front of him, they cannot deny that he has the answer, they can’t deny it. But for you to get there, it’s a journey, you know, but you can start acting as if, act as if you’re Jimmy Smith, think about how he’s going to move, how he’s going to talk, how he’s going to feel. You know, he’s not afraid of the word No, but again relive and anchor, I love doing the anchors, Kjersti, where you anchor the successes in your life, every success, anchor your successes and then when you want to be the most powerful, relive, and go back to that moment in your mind and then walk outside as if it’s just happened and watch your physiology change. You know watch how you feel, watch how attractive you really become.
>> David: Okay, it’s, it’s pretty simple stuff really on the big scheme of things it all comes down to how we think to ourselves.
>> Kjersti: Well I love it and I think that that everything that you’ve shared on this morning’s call is truly golden nougat and I would highly, highly encourage everybody to go back and to relisten, to relisten, to relisten because again, it’s almost like growing that muscle and I think that as far as learning more David because I know you have so much more to give, so much more of course we have very little time at this morning together, but I, I want to talk about the events and then I’m going to have you close out with your call to action. In the Enlightened Training Circle, there’s two of them that’s coming up in the month of June, one is in New York and the other one is in Bellevue, Washington, you know, a suburb of Seattle. So it’s either east coast, west coast, take your pick, but they’re one weekend after another. So the one in New York is going to be June 18 through the 20th and it’s looks like there’s been a reduction in price, which is exciting and so check out the dates, check out the times where they’re at, and get your tickets bought, get yourself registered, you know, commit to doing this because I can really, I, I’m a wonderful testimony as far as going to David’s events I love your events David and I think they’re fun. What most of the time people, they don’t, that they don’t want them to leave, they don’t want to, no one wants to leave, no one wants them to end. I remember the first couple of them that I went, it was like oh man I want him to continue on, I could have taken like six days work, although we were there for three days and it seemed like six days because you learn so much and the processes that you take people through, but just for everybody listening on the line, they are so much fun. You are going to meet some phenomenal people and I know top leaders go to these things all the time and just to get into the room circle, you know, and feel the energy and, and start to, you know, make your life a masterpiece is just one in and a true, true blessing, so again the one in New York is June 18th through the 20th and then the one in Bellevue is June 26th to the 28th. So just go into your back office, click on the events tab that’s on running across the top of your page and click on corporate events and scroll down because they are almost at the very bottom and then it will tell you how to get yourself registered and make your room reservations and all that good stuff. So with that David, call to action, let’s go ahead and close out the call and of course I know you’re call to action is going to include the word, should.

>> David: I’m glad you reminded me. Let me just say one thing about the programs, just so you know we didn’t reduce the price, we reduced the amount of days, perhaps which is a three-day event, it was a four-day event, we just wanted to make it a little shorter so that, you know, again for people’s time constraints and stuff like that is that they could get to the event and also we’re going to include a special for everyone listening to this call. When you come to the event, alright, we’re going to give you a additional ticket if you already have your ticket or a free ticket to celebration, so that you can again because I again we, we don’t make money on these events you can tell that, I mean, I mean I would charge you 7000 to 8000 dollars for this event if you were coming outside of Isagenix, but it’s only 4000 dollars, you know, and if you could get it for a few hundred dollars, it just shows you our commitment to your growth, one thing, alright. So you can get a free ticket. When you get there or an additional ticket if you’ve already got your ticket, it’s not to exchange, but for a celebration to give to someone in your team, so there’s a real good deal there for anyone listening on this call Kjersti, alright. Anyways, so let’s talk about the word should, I want you to write down a list of shoulds. You know what should you be doing to succeed? I should speak to more people, I should get up earlier than expected, I should… and you’re going to write a list of shoulds, you know, and, and all the things you know you should do in order to succeed.
I should invest in events because I’m worth it, I should make the investment in myself more, you know, it should be the number one priority in my life as investing in myself, you know, I should you know, all these different things, you know, all the shoulds, and I want you to go through as many as you can, right, so right after the call get a pen and paper out, and write I should, I should do this, I should do this, I should do this, I should do this, I should do this and then I want you to do this, I want you to highlight the top three, what because you don’t have to make a lot of changes in your life. To make extraordinary changes it’s not about changing everything, it’s just changing, making small adjustments because you’re perfect the way you are, the fact is you want more, yes, so if you want more, then what you’re going to do is you’re going to find three of the shoulds and you’re going to start making a commitment to those three things. Instead of should and you’re going to take your life to a new standard, a new standard of living is that you would no longer, I was going to use that word I should, I said stop shoulding all over yourself and you’re going to cross out three of them and you’re going to make a new commitment and you’re going to commit and they’re going to become your new goals. I, my goal is I should speak to more people everyday. I, I’m going to, I’m going to talk to new, two new people every single day and every single day you’re going to do that, this is a taking your life to a new standard, you’re holding yourself to a new standard now, the shoulds are going to be our commitment, but not all the shoulds, just two or three of them, alright and I say three is a great number and listen if three is too many, I’d say take the top one, the number one that’s going to take you the way you want to go and then you’re going to commit to it. Every single day you’re going to use that, write it up on your fridge, on your mirror, write it in soap on your mirror, don’t write it on a piece of paper, on soap on your mirror that way when the whole bathroom steams up guess what, you can still see it, it stays out like a sore thumb, I always write on the mirror, alright. So turn your shoulds into new commitments and take your life into a whole new level. And again, not by changing everything, by making small adjustments, but then you commit to it every single day, Kjersti.
