>> Good morning everyone and welcome to our Saturday morning business training with Isagenix. My name is Kjersti Coté, your host. And we’ve got a very, very exciting call in store for all of you this morning. We have none other than Jay Bennett with us. We’re going to be talking about a 10 week blitz before our annual celebration, and literally, it’s 10 weeks away from this weekend. Very, very exciting. And I know when it comes to building toward events and setting goals and kind of checking in, you know, with where you’re at, Jay is an absolute master on this. Hence, bringing him on the line this morning. And Jay, I know that there’s an Isagenix university going on and that you’re attending that. So we’re just grateful to have you with us. Now I want to introduce Jay to everybody. As you’re listening in, you may or may not have seen Jay present at our annual celebration on state top achievers and so forth, but he is an amazing trainer.

We are so blessed to have him as part of our Isagenix family. He lives in southern California. He is married they have two beautiful children, and I’m not kidding. They are beautiful, wonderful kids, Shanelle and is it — Kean. Yes, Kean, okay. And Jay found Isagenix right when it started, right back at the beginning. And actually took a time out and headed off to some other business ventures, and really discovered that Isagenix is where it was at. So he has been building very strong — I say for about two-and-a-half years. And he has built a multiple million dollar organization. I’ll tell you something, he is one of our million dollar earners, he is a six star golden circle, a four star executive, and he’s building with massive, massive motivation. And we are just very, very exciting to have him, again, a part of our company and with us this morning. So with that, good morning Jay, and welcome to the call.

>> Good morning, Kjersti, and I really thank you for having me on. And I just wanted to ask one thing here. There’s a web site that we have for the convention. Do you know that web site?

>> Oh — ooh, you know what, let me do some research while you’re getting us started I will actually look into that. There is one, and –

>> Because like you say, I’m at ICU, and I don’t have that in front of me. But I do want to make sure we have that on this call.

>> Okay. Very good. I’ll look into that while we’re going through this morning. Well, let me just kind of preface this by the fact that we are 10 weeks away from our annual event, literally this weekend is our 10 week mark. There’s a lot of people that have come into the company that are brand new, there are people who have been with the company for five years that are listening in this morning. And everybody, like you had mentioned a little earlier today, is everybody’s at a different place during — you know, in their journey of Isagenix. And I know that there’s basic key components when it comes to goal setting and working toward events. And I know that this has been a huge deal for you in building toward events in your organization and really helped to catapult your success. How important is it to really set goals, make it to the events, and be there and bring as many people with them as possible?

>> Well, Kjersti, it’s invaluable. The convention and top achievers are the two main events that the company puts on that are like have-tos, must events. And the convention, by far, is the big one. When I got going, like you said, now it’s almost three years ago when I really kicked into gear. I got going in June, the convention was in August. So in three months or less than three months, I had 25, 30 people at that first convention. And that really, really kicked me into gear. I mean, it got me to just scream after that convention with this new team, and it created the, you know, multiple, multiple, multiple income here that I have. And I really credit it to that first convention. So if you’re new or you’ve been around the flag pole here, you’ve got to recommit to the process of getting people to these events. And I know that we’re talking 10 weeks away, everybody. But really, mentally, you should cut that in half to, like, 5 weeks. As you get into the Fourth of July, people are already kind of making the commitments for their summer. So I would really like to put it out there to everybody that here, especially through the — as we close out of May and go through of the month of June, before the Fourth of July, you need to get those commitments now. So I’m going to give you kind of a one, two, three here. Number one, you need to go back to every single person that you know, that you’ve talked to, and the people that are in your organization currently. And you need to — just like you’d start someone up by, you know, getting them exposed to the web site to take a look at the video to get in on the products or the business, you need to go back to people with the same concept of getting them to take a look at the convention web site, which we’ll get that for you here. And get the commitment from them, do they want to get there or not. And it’s okay if they don’t.

It’s just that you need to get them the option. Do you want to get to this convention. Will you invest your time, yes, your energy, your money, to get to that convention. And you’ve got to be able to ask people directly. You’ve got to get the commitments over the phone. So let’s say that you have organizations of hundreds, let’s say. And you go after every single person to invite them. And let’s say that you get 5, 10, to commit, out of hundreds. Those 5 to 10 people getting to that convention is absolutely going to change the whole direction of your business. It really is. Because what’s going to happen is that they’re — first of all, the commitment of getting there shows a sign of something positive, that they’re really searching, they’re really wanting something. But by getting there and being in that arena, and meeting the people and hearing the stories and getting the new announcements. And folks, the announcements we’re going to have at this convention are going to absolutely propel this company. And you need to know that this company takes it over the top in regards to these conventions. And I know without a doubt that the announcements we’re going to have at this convention are going to be just amazing. And people are going to get absolutely fired up. And what’s going to happen is they’re going to come out there and go crazy. And if they’re in your down line, they’re going to be building your organization. Kjersti?

>> Yeah. Absolutely. And I think that you’re right. I think you nailed it right on when it comes to the events. They really don’t spare any expense. And to get yourselves registered I do know that if you’re brand new to Isagenix, within 60 days your registration is 199. And if you’ve been in Isagenix over 60 days, then it’s 299 right now. But get this. So I found out what the web site is, Jay. It’s Isaconvention.com. And you can actually register there, check out the agenda. Check out the hotel. What you need to do to get yourselves there. And another thing too, that I think is really fun, not only is it a fun event, you’re going to learn, you’re going to see a lot of what Jay was talking about but there’s also something very special that’s called the founders gala dinner. And did you know that if you achieve crystal executive within your first six months, or before the event, obviously, and of course there’s a crystal challenge going on that ends I think mid July. If you go crystal executive, which let me just tell you, Jay, I know that there’s people in the field who go crystal effective in two weeks because they’re committed, their laser focused, and that’s their goal. They actually get invited to the founders gala. There’s also other things too, like if you’re a top millionaire, founding executive, but also if you take advantage of if you are a winner in the winter windfall contest, if you become 100, 200, 300 club member, which means that you release all of that. All of the information is on the Isaconvention.com. But it’s so cool, and now Jay, I know that there’s goals that people have set right now. Let’s talk about the timeline here, because even though we’re ten weeks away from the event, what’s a really safe timeline to stick to when it comes to goal setting and really getting it done in a safe period of time.

>> Well, you know, if we’re talking about — if we’re talking about getting people to the convention or range advancements.

>> Rank advancements, and getting people to the convention. So we’ll talk about both.

>> Okay, so you know, one of the things that I love is that the company has but into place up front bonuses. So by being on auto ship and working through the plane , if you’re new, going to consultant now, they pay you to go to consultant. They pay you now to go to start consultant, and they pay you now to go to executive. We never had that before. Never, never, never had that before. So you’re getting paid up front money. And I don’t have all of the numbers in front of me, but it’s thousands and thousands of dollars now getting to the executive position. So what that does is it propels you so that you’re back end, which is your team bonuses start to kick in by getting to the start consultant, executive positions. Your organization starts to take off. And if you will teach your people to go from consultant to start consultant to executive to get those front end bonuses, it will prepare — propel their down line volumes in business and get their cycles going up. So we’ve got something very special here. And I want you to know that the company is going to pay attention. They have this bonus, front end bonus all the way through the end of August. So you need to know that between now we’re going into the front part of June. We’ve got all of June, all of July then you’ve got the August convention, and then you’ve got to the end of August to get to be able to get paid on all those front end bonuses going from consultant, start consultant, to executive. So there’s thousands of dollars on the table for you depending on, you know, different packages and different things that you do. But that front end money was never there before. So when you go in the fall now, you’re going to have an organization that’s built underneath you that you’re getting nice team cycles on, huge residual incomes.

Now I believe, and I’ll just throw this out, you know, little carrot here, that if in fact all that works out with the front end bonuses here in the way that I see it happening, I believe that this program will be something that’s part of the company. Not a promotional period, something that’s part of the company. And you want to take advantage of it. So goals is simply this. It’s just something that you go I’ve got to get there no matter what. Now if you’re already a start consultant or an executive, but you use these front end bonuses to propel your team. So in other words, if you’re already at executive, use these bonuses to help you get your team to the next level. So I’m going after my entire organization, and I’m just asking them — I have a new guy here now that’s actually in Phoenix whose goal is to get to executive in June. He just got started about 45 days ago. He’s going to get to executive by June. And I know that he is, because he had like nine people here in the opportunity meeting here Thursday night. And we — you know, I know the guy is on fire to do it. So he’s totally focused, he’s going to go to executive, he’s going to get all of these front end bonuses.

But now he’s creating the momentum going into the convention with his team. And boy, I can get lost on this direction of what we’re doing to make that happen. But let me go back to numbers in terms of goal setting that you need to look at your organization right now. Whatever the size is, wherever you are in the process, you need to ask yourself how many people am I going to get personally to that convention. Even calling through your organization that you’re going to personally enroll into that convention. I am talking about that you call them up, you get them to look at Isaconvention.com, you follow up and ask them what they want to do. And do not hard sell or anything like that. You’re going to give them the option. Now what you need to know is this. And I’ve been in the industry 25 years and some people hear this and some people don’t hear it. But it’s the easiest way to make money in network marketing is the ability to promote events. Why? Why is that? Because when I get people to the event and they get to see the big picture, and they get to see the huge direction of where they company is going, those people will put their time and their effort in and they will go to work. And the issue is how many people do you want to go to work in your down line. How many do you want to have go to work. So if you know that that’s true, if you know that they will go to work and they will end up paying the price to do what it takes to be successful, how many of you or of those in your down line. And that’s the mental approach that you need to have when we talk about setting goals, getting people there. I had a goal that first convention getting 25, 30 people there. I got 25, 30 people there. And that exploded my business.

I knew what I was doing by getting those people there, and it exploded my business. Was it worth it? Absolutely. You have to have that kind of an attitude. So you go down the list. You have your list, you have the Isaconvention.com that you’re going to leverage, just like we talked about the three step system. And we said, you know, get the appointment, get them to watch the video, and immediately follow up. The same thing. Same philosophy for Isaconvention.com. You’ve got to get to the convention. When is it. August 8 through 10. It’s in Anaheim, it’s by Disneyland. Bring the family. It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be fun. By the way, do you have five minutes to watch a video. Yes, I do. Go to Isaconvention.com. Click on that. Check that out. Okay, I’m calling you back here. What do you think, what too you want to do. You see the vision here of getting to this event. Do you think it will help you in building your business. Some will say yes, and some will have a reason why they can’t do it. It does not matter. Get to the ones that are yeses. If you had 100 people in your group and you make those calls and you only had 5 or 10 that said yes and got there, I’m telling you and I believe this 100% that those 5 to 10 will make you a fortune, will make you residual income.

They will see something that is at this convention that will open up their eyes. That will cause them to go to work. That will — and they will be in your down line. And you will be making money. And I’m talking about serious money. When you hear the announcements of what is happening here in August make no mistake, this is a merging billion dollar company. If you want to be at the forefront of this, if you want to be part of this, if you want to make this thing happen for you and your family. If that’s truly what you want then you’ve got to have the ability to promote this event. You’ve got to have the ability to get people to see Isaconvention.com. You’ve got to have the ability to do that. And then get the commitments. You get the commitments, you don’t leave it to chance. You don’t leave it to hope that they’ll do it. You don’t assume that they’ll figure that out. You’ve got to have the ability to make that call, get them to watch that video and get the commitment or not get the commitment. It’s okay if you don’t get the commitment, okay? You tell them hey, just stay strong on the product, you’re going to do great. Use those products. I’m glad you’re doing well on the product and plug into the systems that we have. Doing this from home, you’re going to do great, you’re going to do great. It’s not a negative if they don’t go. I don’t want it to sound like it’s a negative if they don’t. It’s just a huge positive if they do.

>> Absolutely. And you know, I remember — I think it was Lenny that said a week or so, a little over a week ago, on one of the calls that you know, the difference between those who will make it in the company and those who wouldn’t are the difference between those who are interested in Isagenix versus those who are committed to Isagenix. And I have seen hundreds of people, you know, personally just looking at their eyes, you know, and seeing, their change take place, that they arrived at the event just interested in Isagenix. Whether it was an Isagenix university or the an annual celebration or something like that. And they left committed. And so if that’s the transition that needs to take place in three days for an individual, it is 100% worth it. Now let’s talk about the cost because I spoke to someone just recently that was just like, oh my gosh, this is going to cost me to go. And I, you know, oh, and so they’re actually going to be flying down and going to the event with this whole mind set of how much is this going to cost me. So let’s talk about investments and you know, how to view, you know, what you’re spending in going down. An the comparison of what it would cost to go to an annual celebration compared to other events that are planned by other companies and the massive costs there.

>> Well, first of all, I mean, we could go a whole different — lot of different directions on — this is a great question. Because you have to invest in your future. It’s not a cost. This is an investment. And there’s a big difference in terms of philosophy. You’ve got to have the ability to invest in your business. You have to have the ability to invest in yourself. And when you talk about 199 or 299, these are all write offs. First of all, if you’re talking business, everything we do is a business write off. And we have to have that philosophy for the average person who’s in a job situation. Why do they need to be in a home business. Not that they’re going to be suppose successful, but they have the tax benefits of being in business for themselves with the idea of getting a profit. But if they struggle that their year and you save let’s say $5,000 a year in taxes, made, let’s say, 5,000 in income, you save 5,000 in taxes, well that’s a $10,000 turn around just right there. So you’ve got to be in business for yourself. You’ve got to understand that these are write offs. But it’s also an investment. It’s an investment in you. It’s an investment in your vision. It’s an investment in where you’re going to be. Now let’s go another route here with this. There’s somebody that I know who went to a seminar with a guy who never has built a network marketing business, and yet he talks about it. And he charged $3,000 for a weekend. $3,000. The guy has never built a network marketing business, and yet people pay that kind of money and they even then fly in and pay for hotels. And this guy for a weekend charges $3,000. Which blows my mind. Because you know, the guy’s never built it.

Now here in Isagenix you have all these millionaires who have actually built that business, you’ve got the owners of the company that are building the business, you have all the tools, all the announcements, all the stories, all the stuff that happens at these events. And you’re doing it for, what, 299 or 199 or whatever the price point is going to be based on where you are here, it’s incredible. So it’s a minor investment, in my opinion, for a huge return. So you know, the number one thing Kjersti is invest in yourself. Understand that that is the philosophy of being successful. I’ve talked to many, many people that are hugely successful in their lives, and they invest 10,000, 20,000, 30,000, 50,000, $100,000 a year in personal development, by the way. So understand that that is normal for people that are highly successful. So to invest $299 to get to a convention, to invest in hotels and airfare is really a minor investment for the return.

>> Yeah. Absolutely. And I couldn’t agree with you more. And so as far as goal setting goes and concerns, this is the last question that I have and then of course we’ll just wrap it up from here and have you add whatever you feel is necessary. But as far as goal setting is concerned with recruiting, you had mentioned to me that you know, really 10 weeks, even though we’re 10 weeks out, to divide that into two. So that gives people 5 weeks to really push hard, you know, to recruit people into their organizations. You know, what types of tips for success can you give those individuals when it Ms. To going out, recruiting, and sharing Isagenix. And I know that you’ve done a training on this three step process, which by the way, everybody who is listening, you can kind that in your back office. And just go into your library which I’ll tell you a little bit more toward the end of the call about. But what kind of golden tips can you share with individuals as they’re building over the next 5 weeks to really take their business to the next level, and of course on a second note, get people to the annual event that are already in their organizations. What golden tips can you pass on.

>> Well, if you have a short fuse I think it’s going to help you if you will think in terms of how many people you will get committed to the convention before July 4. I think you’re — the bulk of what you’re going to get done probably be 80% of who’s going to get to that convention will happen before the Fourth of July, because people do need to make those commitments now to prepare themselves logistically. They need their air flights, they need their hotel, they need their registration. They’ve got to get those logistics handled. And so what I would do is like what I’ve kind of mentioned a little bit earlier. Is number one, put a list together. Number two, make those calls, get them to Isaconvention. I thought it was Isaconvention, but I just wanted to make sure, because the URL changed here once. But Isaconvention.com is the video that you want them to watch. And so you’re just following up with your organization, you’re seeing how they’re doing, you’re bringing up the convention, you’re putting it in front of them, and you’re saying hey, check this Isaconvention. And then you’re following up, and you’re going, you know, what would you like to do. Tell them you’re going to be there. Because there’s no way you could tell someone to be at the convention unless you’re there.

So you’re going to be at the convention, you’d really like to encourage them to be there. And you give them the options of what it’s going to take to get there. You know, kind of give them a rough idea of what it’s going to take time-wise, and what they’re going to have to do to get there. And get that commitment. And literally, go into the back office and get them registered. Get their credit card and literally put the order in, if you will, for the registration ticket. Get that commitment. Even if you haven’t handled the hotel or the air fare, get the registration handled. That will force them to get the other logistical things handled. So get that registration just like you’re taking a product order. Here’s the philosophy. Just like you’re trying to take a product order and you’re asking for a credit card, you’re doing the same thing here to get them registered to the convention. Once you’ve gotten the registration completed they will get the airfare and the hotel part handled. That will be — that will take care of itself. So I hope that helps, Kjersti. But you also want to have in your head how many people that you feel in your head that you want to get to that convention. And if you’re — you know, if you’re brand new, maybe you’re looking at five to ten, or maybe two to three. Maybe you’re brand, brand new. You go God, if I could just get two, three, four, five people there. That would be great. Then good. Go for that goal. Make that commitment, get it done by the Fourth of July. If you’ve already been in the company a year you should be looking at, you know, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 people. Again, depending where you are in the business. But you want to have a goal that no matter what, you’re getting those people there. And when you have that set, you know where you’re kind of going, then you make those calls and bingo, you’re going to get those kinds of results. I guarantee you’re going to get results here. You’re going to get a lot more going to the convention than if you don’t do this.

>> And one other thing, too, is Jay, I know that mind set plays a huge role into this. So everybody’s calling, they are making their list, they’re sending people. You know, what kind of mind set did you have going through. Because I know that you work from morning tonight calling people, having people take a look. Some said yes, some said no. What can you share with everybody as far as mind set is concerned when it comes to sharing the opportunity of Isagenix, sharing the opportunity of going to the annual event. Whether they say yes or whether they say no, what kind of advice would you give?

>> Well, it’s like — the mind set I have, I know that the person getting to that event — the potential — those — it’s kind of like seeds being planted in the earth. You know that X amount of them are going to grow 10 fold, 30 fold, 100 fold. That’s basically the philosophy that you need to have. These are succeeds being planted, and all of them are going to show 10 fold, 30 fold, 100 fold. You don’t know which ones are going to be 10 fold, you don’t know which ones are going to be 30 fold, you don’t know which ones are going to be 100 fold. To be quite honest, you don’t know which ones are on stony ground, or the thorns and the weeds are going to choke them out. But the fact is the bulk of those people are going to respond 10 fold, 30 fold, 100 fold. Knowing that in advantage that you’re planting those seeds and they’re going to come to fruition, they’re going to — they’re going to flourish from that convention. You just have to have that vision that that event is going deliver for you. You have to really, really believe that. I think that’s what I have is that I know that without a shadow of a doubt that that — that is going to deliver. The company has proven it in the past. They’ve given me enough reasons to know that that is a fact. It has made me hugely successful using the events. And I have been talking about the convention for the last six months, I’ve been talking about it. But now we’re into crunch time. Now the next five, six — five six weeks are going to go by fast. So now we can’t be playing games. Now we’ve got to get into really getting the commitments over the phone and asking people and invite them to be at that event.

>> Right. Absolutely. That’s great. I love that. The seeds being plants and you can just look at the annual celebration as the sun and the water.

[ Laughter ]

>> Yeah.

>> Nourishment, yeah, absolutely. Well Jay, thank you so much for being with us. And before I let you go, is there anything else that you’d like to impart to everybody that’s listening.

>> Well I just look forward to seeing everybody there. I mean, you can see that the theme here is getting to the convention. I just want to say that I, you know, I look forward to seeing everybody there. We’re here at ICU. The energy, we had the most incredible opportunity meeting last night. It was unbelievable. The energy in the room, I mean, I’ll telling you right now, this whole event this weekend, it just fires you up and it gets you focused. There’s so many great things happening in this company. We are going to a billion dollar a year. This is the time to be involved. I mean, saying it. It’s like a common theme. I’m talking about the corporate leadership and the field leadership. We’re all saying that there’s been a seven year foundation that’s been laid with the proper integrity and credibility, and it’s been coming the proper way. And the next three years are just going to be incredible. This is the time to be in Isagenix. This is the time to heavily promote this convention. This is the time to go to work. This is the time to pay the price. If you will take the next, you know, 30 to 45 days to promote this event, if you will take the next 30 to 45 days and really, really work hard at it, and really stretch yourself, and really get those people to the event it will have an amazing impact on your business. And I guarantee that. And you’ll know that when you’re at the convention. And when you’re at that convention, just know on the other side of it, you’re going to wish you had more people there. Believe me.

You’re going to be at that convention, you’re going to see what’s going on, you’re going to hear what’s going on, you’re going to go, oh my goodness I wish I had more people here. That happens every single time. If you know that in advance you’re not going to have a regret if you gave it your best shot. And that’s all you can do by the way, is give it your best shot. That’s all we’re going to say on this call. Give it your best shot. Give those people the information, give them their options, invite them. See, get the commitment that you can get. And if they’re not ready, don’t push it. I’m not saying to oversell it or over push it if they’re not ready. But most people need to be asked. Most people need to be invited. Most people need to be encouraged. Be that kind of person. Get those extra people into that event that normally would not have been there, and then watch your business explode.

>> Right, right. Well said. Well said. I love all of those little tips here at the end. And I think that you know, the event is going to be amazing. So Isaconvention.com. Go and check it out and see. And as a matter of fact if you go to the web site there’s actually an area where you can send an invitation to whoever you want by entering in your e-mail, their name, their address, and it will just send them out an invitation to get themselves started and to get themselves registered. So have fun with it, set your goals, plug into these training calls because what we’re going to be doing over the next five to ten weeks on the Saturday business trainings is really going to help for you to hone in on your business skills and really get yourselves going and really creating momentum. But don’t wait until Monday. Today’s Saturday, beautiful day. What are you going to do today that will be making a difference today in your business. And that is what we call, you know, commitment, rather than interested. Are you interested in Isagenix or are you committed to Isagenix. Do whatever it takes to get yourselves going as long as it’s ethical and it’s, you know, you know, not — it’s obviously worthy of your time. It’s something that’s full of integrity, just go for it. So thank you Jay for being with us this morning. We’ll let you go so that you can be with the rest of the ICU, and again, thank you for taking time out and being with us and it’s always a pleasure having you on.

>> Thank you, Kjersti. Good-bye, everybody. We’ll see you at Anaheim convention. Take care.
