>> Good evening everyone and welcome to our Tuesday night Real People, Real Results call with Isagenix. My name is Kjersti Cody, your host. And please forgive my voice, I, I don’t know what, I, I don’t know what’s going on, but I woke up like this this morning. I’m not sick. I just, I guess I have a little bit of laryngitis. And I’ve got, I’ve kind of been joking around anybody that’s on the line that knows who Ellen Bradley Dennis is. I, I sound a lot like Ellen did a couple of months ago. So it’s kind of funny. Any how I just, good evening and welcome. We, we enjoy having you all on the call. We’ve got a lot of information to cover tonight, and of course, some very special guests that are on the line that are going to be sharing their Isagenix stories, and how Isagenix has impacted their lives.

I kind of just kick off the call by taking everybody back about seven years ago to when it all began. The company is a little over seven years old. The company was founded by three individuals, my dad, John Anderson, who is also a master formulator of our amazing nutritional product line. And also the cofounder of the Isagenix [inaudible] Jim and Kathy Coover, they’re a husband and wife team. And actually Jim is now our president and CEO. His, his wife is our executive vice president in Isagenix. And these three individuals are amazing people.

I, obviously, knowing my dad and he is just full of integrity, came out of retirement and so did the Coovers to give back and to really make an impact around the world by improving peoples health and improving their financial aspects in their lives. And, and, you know, it’s kind of interesting, because I’ve, we’ve seen three individuals cross paths, and you know, they’ve know each other for many, many years. And of course crossed paths in I would say about 2001, kind of mid to the end part of, end, end, part of 2001. And, you know, what the, you know, Jim asked my dad the simple question of, Shawn out of all of your years of formulating nutritional products have you found the fountain of youth? And, you know, the magical, the one thing that would really help, you know, people step into a state of anti aging. And, you know, my dad said, well Jim, you know, yes, but that fountain of youth doesn’t lie in just one single ingredient.

It, it, it would be a combination of a lot of different ingredients put together that all work synergistically together that would provide the body amazing amounts of nourishments, detoxification properties, and, and Jim, you know, I, I think I could do it. And so they talked a little bit more. And, you know, my dad came back 48 hours later, you know, actually it was about 72 hours later, but had formulated that nine day cleanse that all of you guys are taking advantage of in about 48 hours time. And just because of his brilliance, his knowledge, his expertise, I mean he knew what it would take. And you put those programs together, four of them to be exact, and my dad and his lovely wife, and Jim and Kathy, they all went on the 9 day program and had amazing results. And because of their results they decided to, you know, see what it would do on, you know, on, on a group of people.

And so my dad manufactured 250, nine day cleanses, and, and sent them out to friends, family, and loved ones. And every single person out of the 250 that took advantage of that nine day cleansing system had absolutely amazing, phenomenal results. Across the board people were loosing weight, inches, gaining energy, sleeping better. And as a matter of fact it sent a frenzy out into the field, because people wanted more. So they, my dad’s phone was ringing off the hook saying, Shawn how can we get more? What are you gonna do with this product? Are you gonna sell it at GNC? And people wanted to know. And of course, my dad and, and Jim and Kathy had to make a quick decision. You know, look if we’re gonna come out of retirement and do this we, how, you know, what are we gonna do. And of course they choose network marketing, you know, which is democracy in it’s finest form, as Jimmy likes to say. And, and it’s a, it’s a, it’s a vehicle that allows people to share these products with others and get paid for it. And, you know, I mean my dad would much rather have, have showed them this vehicle than putting it on your dime store shelf or at the GNC store for you to try to get and figure it out on your own, because the product really deserves to be in your hands.

And so that’s when it was all, that’s what it all started. So they set up the infrastructure of Isagenix in about three months time. And when we opened the doors of 2002, in March of 2002, we were debt free. And in nine months, from March to December of that very first year we generated 19 million in sales. It is so exciting to see what’s going on. And, of course, last year our sales, of course, have risen through out the year. And last year in 2008 our sales were $250,000 dollars. So, excuse me, $250 million, $250 million dollars in sales. And so, you know, what, what, what that means is for every dollar that rolls into Isagenix that means that that’s one life that’s been changed, that those products have impacted somebody. And it’s really; really cool to see what’s taking place. And it’s gonna be even more exciting to see what we’re gonna be doing in the, in the future over the next several decades.

So I would love to introduce our special guest at this time. And they’re, they’re young, they’re young Isagenix enthusiasts. They have completely found their home in Isagenix. And that would be Ben and Ester Sanderlin. Ben’s actually 28, Ester’s 26. They’ve known each other, you know, for 10 years. And they both hail from the state of Alaska. They were raised in Wasilla, Alsaska. And they’ve been married for the last four years. They’re actually expecting their very first baby. She’s due; Ester is due in December. And they love doing a lot of outdoor stuff. And that they are certainly sports enthusiasts; they are athletes. And they found Isagenix a couple of years ago, and I want them to share their amazing story. But just so that you know their success that they’ve had in Isagenix, they are now four-star golden circles. Which means that they earn a beautiful, multiple six-figure income annually. And for them to have found an opportunity like this, and to have rose in the ranks and be generating this amount of money is really, really exciting. And, you know, [inaudible] being said, Ben and Ester, good evening and welcome to the call.

>> Ester: Thank you so much Kjersti.

>> Ben: Hi.

>> Ester: Hey, thanks for having us on the call tonight. Well I think I get, I’ll go ahead and go first. I was actually looking for some nutritionals at the time we were introduced to Isagenix. And I was in a lot of discomfort from my snowmobile racing days. And Ben had kind of gained a little bit of weight. He a, is kind of a little bit of a funny story. But he, after we got married he would, he went on a few hunting trips. And, and, you know, I’d ask him well what do you want me to, to fix you to, to take to eat. And he’d say, oh your homemade cookies, I love them. And so, you know, I had to send him something to eat, right? So, so I sent him cookies, and he kind of ballooned up that first, the first couple of years we were married. So for me I’m gonna kind of talk about how the products helped us out. But for me I really didn’t have a weight issue. I didn’t really need to loose any weight, I just wanted to get healthy and feel good.

So for me I had an increase of stamina and strength, and I’m really active, like you said, and always in a gym. And so I noticed it in my, you know, my endurance and overall fitness level is just higher than it’s ever been. So, I mean, I’ll be on these products for the rest of my life, that’s for sure. And then, and then for Ben, he actually dropped 28 pounds and 21 inches in his first program. And it’s really cute. I have to tell you this story, because I squeezed into his, in his smallest shorts that he had. And I took his before and after pictures. And now when I show people those pictures it’s actually one of my tools that I use and carry with me. And people sometimes they’ll say, we’ll he’s sucking in his stomach, you know. And, you know, I go I’m sure them that, that he’s wasn’t, but then I say, well, you know, you can’t, you can’t suck in back fat that’s for sure. So, and usually we have a good laugh at that, because it’s true. But, so that’s kind of real quickly what, what the products did in our lives. And then along with the products and the amazing opportunity, and I’ll hand if off to Ben to kind of talk about that.

>> Ben: All right, hey thanks Ester. Well just to start off, thanks for having us on the call tonight. And Ester, my beautiful wife, is, is my best business partner. And we wouldn’t be where we’re at today, you know, if it wasn’t for her helping me out working as a team. So thanks Ester. I’m gonna come from a little bit of a different perspective. And I joined Isagenix for one reason only, and that was the business opportunity.

Give you a little more background on myself and Ester. You know, we were born and raised in, in Alaska. Ester was actually born and raised in rural Alaska, out in the bush, there’s no road access. It’s just a snow machine in the winter; fly an airplane, small airplanes in the summer. And so she grew up out there. And I spent about half my childhood growing up also out there. Right out of high school at age 17 I went and worked, got a job on the Alaska Railroad, and I’d spend the summers swinging a hammer, building railroad tracks all over the state of Alaska. And in the winters I’d go out to a, to  Squetna where she grew up, and we’d build log homes and cabins. And so kind of a, just, just to give you some background on us, we have zero background in sales. We just born and raised in great loving families. And about the sixth year on my career on the Alaska Railroad I kind of, the fifth or sixth year, it kind of hit me that, you know, my life definitely was not going where I wanted it to go financially. But I didn’t have any answers. I didn’t really know how to be successful. I wasn’t a businessman.

None of parents, or in-laws, or family member were big business people. And so when I learned about network marketing it totally opened my eyes, and I knew that that was gonna be the vehicle to allow me to go forward and start to live the life of my dreams, and to pursue, pursue what I’ve always kind of known I could do, but I never knew how to do it. So when Isagenix came along it was a true blessing in our lives. And we have absolutely enjoyed the journey. We’ve had ups and downs, but it’s been great all along. And if we can do it, me and Ester from bush Alaska here, and Wasilla now, anyone can do it. And, you know, last, well just recently we, we, we’re blessed enough to have won the cruise. And we got back from that from Mexico. And that was just an eye opener again for us. And, you know, we’re just absolutely loving Isagenix.

So I’m gonna pass it off to a couple of my business partners here, and they’re actually my up line executives here in Alaska, Rick and Paris Kinman.  And we owe about 100% of where we’re at in our business today to Rick and Paris. Great people. I couldn’t ask; they are also life lone Alaskan’s. Rick’s a big game guide. Paris loves racing horses. I’m gonna give you, let them do some background with their marketing history. But absolutely amazing people. And we couldn’t have done it without them. So

>> Ester: Oh, one more, one more thing I’d like to add onto that Ben is, Paris, she’s not my biological mom, but I call her my Isa mom, [phonetic] because she’s always there for us. So.

>> Ben: And I’ll, I’ll also add their three star golden circles, and one star crystal executive. And I’ll let, let you guys take if off Paris and Rick.

>> Rick: Okay, this is Rick. I guess I will go first here, and we’ll save the best for last. First of all Ben I have to correct you, your success is not 100% from us. You guys have done the deal, and we have just been blessed to have you on our team. Very quick history. Paris and I have been full time in network marketing for 13 years. And we’ve been blessed to make some fantastic incomes in some other companies, multiple six figure incomes. And every time the company let us down. And I’m here to tell you Isagenix will not let you down.

We are home. We came into this company. We went crystal executive our first month. And immediately went to an ICU. And when we, when we went to that ICU I knew that we had finally found the company that we had always hoped for. And so we were blessed to find Ben and Ester. Very quickly they went crystal executive as well. And we started that, that cycle of duplication. And so it’s a wonderful thing when you have your down line pass you up in rank. We had a wonderful time strategizing, looking at their organization, and figuring out how to get them the four start golden circle. I don’t know of any other industry in the world where you can actually enjoy helping people surpass you. I mean, it’s totally contrary to the corporate business model, which is broken in America. So it was a, it was blast. We were just honored and excited to see them go four star. And, of course, we’re, we’re hot on their heels too for ranks. So we’re gonna, we’re gonna pass them up by celebration.

But just very quickly I’ll take one minute. And for me network marketing is all about freedom. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Illinois, and drafted during Vietnam. And I did a career, retired as a military officer, and I love freedom. I, I bleed red, white, and blue. And, you know, money will not buy you happiness, but freedom will. And we started network marketing our quest, network marketing for freedom. And I believe that all of us in Isagenix, we’re freedom fighters. We’re out there. We can set the catfish free, because people in this country are getting up in the wee hours in the morning, driving miles they don’t want to drive to a job they hate, to work with negative people. And all of that just to go home and tell their wives or their husbands that they’re failing financially. And it does not make sense. With network marketing you get rewarded for your efforts. If you earn $100,000 in a year you can get paid $100,000 in a year. But you know what? If you can do it in a month you can get paid it in a month. So there’s a level playing field. And I do believe that network marketing is the last fashion of free enter, enterprise remaining on the planet today.

And we are so excited to be a part of the company that is setting us free. And with a, a vision to impact world health and free people from pain, both physically and financially, I mean what an incredible vision, and become the largest health and wellness company in the process. And the company is doing it. We are realizing it. We’re seeing the six and seven figure income earners coming out of this company in record numbers. And our goal is to take as many people with us on this incredible journey as possible. And now my mentor, my superstar, the love of my life, Paris, is; I always tell people, she’s the brains of our business, I’m just a pretty face. And people think I’m kidding. Well, I am kidding about the pretty face, because they can see that. But they know I’m not kidding about the brains. So Paris, to you honey.

>> Paris: Thank you sweetheart. Well I’m not quite sure if we’re gonna top that. But I would just like to share our Isagenix journey with you for a few minutes. When, as, as Rick said, we’ve been in network marketing for 13 years. And it’s been very good to us. And Isagenix though has been an absolute delight. The power of these products make it so easy to share this. And, and, and you’re actually morally obligated to share the power of these products with people. And, you know, for us we’re hitting that, I hate to say it, but that middle age, you know, group. And I had never had a weight issue until I hit about 35 and then all of a sudden, you know, I was going, gosh where did that come from. And so for about 10 years I had been fighting with, you know, 10 to 30, or 20 to 30 pounds that I just could not loose. You know, I would do the proverbial loose 5, gain 7 over and over and over again. And I couldn’t figure it out, because we do live here in this beautiful state of Alaska where we hike, and fish, and camp. We did eat healthy. And I still was struggling with the weight.

When we were introduced to Isagenix it was absolutely amazing. My first system we, I released 9 pounds and 21 inches. My energy went through the roof. I started sleeping better at night. I could work out twice as hard as I was working out before without being sore. And I quickly released that 20 pounds. And I have not had it revisit me at all in the last 2 years. So that has really set me free and put me in a place where I feel like I’m in control of my physical health again. So the health benefits to the products have been phenomenal. Rick was suffering from an injury at the time. And as Ben said, he is a big game guide, and his, his health and stamina are, you know, are definitely a big part of his being able to do that job. And with Isagenix he was able to release 27 pounds quickly and easily, even though he was not able to get out and, you know, get a lot of strenuous exercise or anything. And when, when he guides his hunters they always all want to know what is that magic powder he’s taking, because, you know, he’s twice their age and he’s running circles around them going up the mountain after whatever it is they’re after at that particular time. And so, anyway, the products have been such a blessing in our lives. And the business has been phenomenal. As Rick said, we were able to quickly achieve crystal executive. But to be able to create a six-figure income working from home, you know, where you can plan your, your work around your family, instead of your family around your work. I mean that’s, that’s the most incredible blessing.

We’ve been able to home school our youngest child. I’m able to watch my grandchildren, watch them grow up and really invest in their memories and their future. We take them with us when we travel on our Isagenix trips. And it has been absolutely phenomenal. So anybody who is looking at this as a, just a, a way of whether this would be a good income opportunity for them, definitely take a serious look. And I would just like to close with, you know, the things that set Isagenix apart for us, I mean industry for 13 years. And I apologize for that phone ringing in the background. The things that set us apart are the fact that the company looks at the whole body approach. I mean it’s, everybody that you talk to these days have heard of nutritional cleansing, but not the way that Isagenix addresses it. Make sure the people know that this is the difference. Isagenix takes a common sense, whole body approach that will basically set them free, you know, to be in charge of their health. And so that’s the one thing. And then the compensation plans, the difference between the compensation plans, are absolutely phenomenal. So I know we don’t have a lot of time. but if you are taking a look at this company if that’s why you’re on this call, you need to look long and hard. So I’d like to send this back over to Ben and Ester. And I thank you so much for having us on the call.

>> Yeah we’re here. And Naomi [phonetic] was not able to make it on the call tonight. So, so she, she is not here. So I’m not sure we’re gonna take it from here.

>> I will take it from here. Thank you so much. You know what? I just loved you guys. And I have had so much fun getting to know you at events and being able to visit with you. And you guys are wonderful people. And you deserve the success that you’ve received. And I know that you will continue to build like crazy. And I love what you said Rick about the hot on Ben and Ester’s tail to, you know, really go five star before the annual even, which is in August. And what an exciting time going on for you guys up there. And I remember Kathy coming down back, you know, back to the, the main stage. And after being up in Alaska and you guys put on some meetings up there, [inaudible] you know, based on the Alaskan population, 1 out of every 2 people know about Isagenix. So you guys have done a lot of work, and so congratulations. And thank you so much too for being on tonight and sharing your stories. You guys are, are wonderful, and we appreciate your time.

>> Yes. Yes. Your welcome. And, you know what? For everybody that’s listening in, I just want to wrap up with just a couple of things. And, and then of course I have some closing announcements that I want to make. But one thing that is just amazing, and Rick you touched on a little bit, and of course it’s laced through Ben and Ester’s story, and, and Paris’s story of, you know, Isagenix is getting so much attention. Why have we had so much success? And, and it was touched on a little bit. And that’s because Isagenix addresses the four problems that are facing North America. And really, are seeping into other countries around the world. And that is [inaudible] we eat too much, we eat the wrong foods, processed foods.

Number two is stress. We have fat based lifestyles and these just stress on the body, it contributes to the obesity. And, and [inaudible] obesity. You know, there’s about 80% of people in North America are overweight. And we have about 25 million children who are obese just in the United States. 25 million children.

And number four is toxicity. We’re surrounded in an environment that is filled with pollutants and chemicals. They’re in the air that we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, things we lather on our skin. And, and it’s just because today’s day and age. I mean obviously our ancestors 100 years ago didn’t have to deal with what we’re dealing with, with our health crisis. And of course, you know, people are nutritionally bankrupt.

To, to, to really add to that, you know, we have an economic crisis going on right now. Just in the last 12 months there’s about 5.3 million people that have lost their jobs. The unemployment rate has risen by about 3.4 percentage points just in that, just in the last 12 months. And so people they’re in debt, they have families to feed, they don’t know how to get themselves out of debt, they don’t know where to turn. And Isagenix provides an amazing vehicle that people can get into for a $39 start up fee. Get your self on some products. Develop a product story. Take a look at the pay plan. Embrace the 6% that it pays out. I always tell people that Isagenix is like the real estate market, except for we, we’re on the nutritional side of things and helping to feed people these amazing foods. And, and, you know, take advantage of looking into this. And if cause somebody, if there’s somebody that got you onto this call that is sharing Isagenix with you, sit down with them and have them share all the details and get started.
