Well good evening everyone, and welcome to our Tuesday night real people, real results call with Isagenix. My name is Kjersti Cote your host, and it’s a pleasure to be here with all of you. It is April 14, 2009 and my oh my, how the year is just completely flying right by, and lots of exciting things taking place. We have some absolute… amazing guests that will be with us to share their story, and before I bring them on and them share their passion, their excitement about Isagenix, I just want to first of all welcome everybody that is brand new to Isagenix; that you are now calling Isagenix your home.

It is so exciting to see the company grow, especially in this time with our economy as it is. As Jim Coover says, we’re choosing not to participate in the recession that’s going on, which I love that. And obviously that is definitely taking place. Our company is growing with leaps and bounds every single day! And I just want to take a moment and take everybody back to the very beginning. Isagenix was founded by 3 individuals, John Anderson who’s my wonderful father, along with Jim and Cathy Coover, just an absolute dynamic couple. Those 3 got together and put their brilliant minds to work, and created Isagenix, and we opened the doors in March of 2002. And in our first 9 months of business from March to December of 2002, we generated 19 million in sales.

That is something to be pretty excited about, and I will say that with that much excitement and that much growth in the first 9 months, we didn’t advertise. We hardly had any tools, that was really just word of mouth, people sharing Isagenix with others - their friends, their family. And of course our company has continued to grow each and every year, and last year alone we did 250 million in sales. And the reason why I love to share those numbers is because for every single dollar that rolls into the company, that means that that is just another life that’s been impacted with their health and their wealth. It’s so exciting to see what’s taking place, and Isagenix is truly making a difference around the globe, helping people achieve better health and better wealth. We have so much to experience yet so far with all that we’ve been able to accomplish. The future is going to be bright, and we are going to see some magnificent things, some magnificent growth take place over the next year, 2 years, 5 years, and over the next decade.

As Rick Despain, he is one of our vice presidents of field relations within our company, and he says that we’re just getting started. And you can look at Isagenix as the ground floor has been laid, and now we’re on the 7th floor and Isagenix is gonna be a skyscraper. So if you’re just now getting involved or considering taking advantage of Isagenix, boy oh boy I really believe that you’re in the right place at the right time. So with that, I’d love to introduce our very first guest.

She’s a beautiful woman that’s been a part of Isagenix almost since the very beginning, and she is a 3 circled in circle which means that she generates a beautiful 6 figure income annually. Her background is quite extensive. She’s worked in film and television production for over 15 years, and she had the honor of working on the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics, which was a show that won an unprecedented 7 Emmy awards. She’s worked with authors such as Mark Victor Hansen, Robert Allen, and she is truly passionate about helping others achieve their goals, and she’s coached hundreds of people through this Isagenix technology. She is married to her soul mate, she is the proud mommy of 3 children, and she’s received some awards in Isagenix because of her efforts; one of them being the 2008 outstanding woman of Isagenix awards. So it’s really a pleasure to have you on the line Stephanie, so good evening to you and welcome to the call.

>> Well thank you so much for that beautiful introduction Kiersty.

>> Well you know what? It’s all true and I am very excited to have you on tonight. You have been a part of Isagenix for quite some time. You have seen the company grow, and we have a lot of people on the line listening in, and I’m gonna turn the time over to you for you to share your brief story. I know you both have got some special guests on the line, so I’ll turn the time over to you.

>> I do. Thanks Kiersty. Well you know it probably seems like I’ve been around since the beginning, but it isn’t. It’s only been, it’ll be 4 years this summer. So yeah, and my goodness what an incredible 4 years it’s been.

>> Stephanie, now that means that you joined Isagenix in 2005, just about 3 years after it had began. Were you at the 2005 annual celebration?

>> I was not, and in fact that gets me to my story. I had moved back to Canada from Salt Lake City, where I’d worked to take care of my mom who was terminally ill. And as you mentioned, I’d been into health and wellness for over 25 years, had been doing all the right things - eating organic primarily, taking high grade nutritional supplements, really taking care of myself. And yet, during this very stressful time of caring for my mom, my health took an absolute nose dive and I didn’t know what to do anymore. I didn’t know where to turn. I was at a point where I felt like a wet dish rag that had been rung out and thrown in the corner. I could hardly get up in the morning, and I was living with a constant mental fog, and the weight that I had gained I almost didn’t notice because of how badly I was feeling. And the whole year prior to moving back here, I’d been looking actively for a network marketing company, and of course that all went on the backburner as I was caring for my mom during the last couple of years of her life.

I still remember this so vividly, I’d been at the doctor’s and of course the doctor wanted to put me on all kinds of medications, and something made me say I’m gonna do a cleanse. And I had done one years before and hated it, so I never cleansed again but something just like a voice from the sky… and that same day I had an email from a dear friend of mine who I’d worked with in Utah, and she was asking about which newspaper in Calgary put an ad in. And it read, desperate housewife or millionaire mom. I was so intrigued just by this little ad, to find out what she was up to. I called her and she started telling about this incredible… company that had just gone to 100 million in 30 months, and the Coovers who had come out of retirement. And she was telling me all the business stuff. Well that’s not the listening place I was in at all, because I wasn’t feeling well. And at that time I wasn’t looking for a business. I was just looking for a solution. So I kind of tuned her out a little bit, but I said you know, when she was done with all her excitement about the business and the company, I said well what do they make? And she said a cleanse.

Well that was it. I didn’t need to be told anymore than that, even though I did look at the website and I said you know what, if this does half of what they claim on the Fox TV news stories that I saw, I am so in. And Kiersty, I started my cleanse on Wednesday. That same week, that Friday, my girlfriend came over for lunch and she looked at me, she was right up in my face, she said what did you get done? And I said, what do you mean? She said, you’ve had a chemical peel or something. You are glowing! And I’d woken up before the alarm clock, the mental fog started to lift, and it was like I was getting a new lease on life. So of course with results that visible and that emotional, people started to notice right away. It was just before the Calgary stampede, which is a huge, huge world renowned celebration here in Calgary, and all my girlfriends were asking me what was going on. I released 21 pounds and 28 inches in my first 30 day program, and everybody wanted some. And that’s kind of how it all started, so you know what? When I wasn’t looking, I Isagenix found me and I really find that that happens for so many people.

>> So over the last 3 and a half, 4 years, your journey has been one of regaining your health, vitality, and then of course sharing the technology with others. At what point did you really become intrigued with the business? Was it right away after you had lost your 21 pounds and 28 inches, or when did you actually catch the vision of this financial vehicle?

>> Kiersty, I got that immediately, even though I didn’t really quite understand the compensation plan I kept watching the Cathy Coover video. Oh and the thing I forgot to mention, what really sealed everything for me is just at the end of my 30 days, the Coovers happened to be in Calgary and I got to meet them and I got to have dinner with them and look into their eyes and look into their hearts, and I knew that I was in good hands with this company and that it was the one. I had very specific criteria, I had a list of 7 criteria and no other company had met all of that criteria until Isagenix came along. So I got it right away.

Now my mom was at the end of her life, so I didn’t have a lot of time obviously. I was practically living at the hospice with her, but like I said, a few friends noticed and then a few of their friends noticed and like you said, just word of mouth, word of mouth. And so I was only able to commit a few hours a week really at that time, but because of the incredible tools we have, the website, I just would direct people to that and the business started to grow. And I basically, we had to make it work because as I mentioned, I’d moved up here, my husband stayed behind in the state so the boys could finish school. He lost his job of 25 years and I had quit my job, so we went from 1 household 2 incomes to 2 households no incomes. So it was just… Isagenix was such an incredible blessing in so many ways, and 3 years into it I’ve replaced the income that I made in my best year in film and television after 15 years.

>> Oh that is so exciting! So now as you moved forward and really got into this whole thing, obviously your team has been growing. I know you’ve got some amazing individuals on the line, so who are you gonna introduce first?

>> Well, and this is probably the most exciting part of it. You know what? The monetary rewards are of course incredible, and we all need money. What do they say, love makes the world go round, but money pays for the trip. But what really makes, what excites me so much are the stories that I hear everyday. And I’m going to get to hear this story actually for the first time. The first lady I’m going to introduce is very new to Isagenix, but she’s also been passionate about health and fitness for as long as she can remember, and in fact has competed in a northern Alberta figure show. She loves to help people achieve their health and fitness goals, and has been married to her wonderful husband for 8 years, and is the proud stay at home mom of 3 beautiful children age 6, 3, and 3 months. And she has a story I haven’t heard before, so this is Allison Blackburn from Alberta. And I’m gonna let her share with us her story. Allison, are you there? She may be on the…

>> No, I’m here. Hi. How are you? How’s everybody?

>> We’re good, and we can hear you loud and clear, so take it away.

>> Okay. My name is Allison and I live in Alberta. We’ve been a part of Isagenix for; well my husband’s been taking the products for about a month. He was in the Canadian military for 13 years, and has obviously seen some pretty nasty things that has affected him emotionally, and he’s experienced mood changes, nightmares, sleep disruptions… flashbacks, just those kind of things. It just seemed to… zap all his energy, like he had no energy. He would fall asleep coming home from work. He was tired at night when he got home. He wanted to sleep all weekend, and he was… snapping at the kids, no patience with the kids, and he wasn’t very fun to be around anymore.

>> Allison, how did that affect your marriage and your family life? What was that like?

>> It was awful. We’ve gone through some pretty hard times. You know they say the first 5 years is the roughest time of a marriage, and I actually believe it now. Yeah, there was a few times where it… we could have said goodbye, but we stuck it out and I’m glad today, that’s for sure.

>> And then how did you guys hear about Isagenix?

>> A friend of ours. Actually I’d heard about it before, but a friend of ours, a closer friend of ours, was doing it and we saw some great results with him. He had lost quite a few pounds and was back, had met his goal or whatever, and… I guess maybe we were just I guess looking for that at the time, maybe before we weren’t, and this time we were but… yeah he…

>> And what happened, what happened? Tell us about your husband now.

>> I have a new husband. He’s got so much more energy, even just after a couple of days on Isagenix he wasn’t falling asleep anymore at the wheel coming home from work, and he had more patience with the kids. He hasn’t slept on the weekends at all, he sleeps at night but not during the day. He hasn’t not once since he’s been doing this. He’s taking the initiative now to help out around the house, and do things for me that I would normally do and he just says honey, do you want me to do this? Sure, go ahead.

[ laughing ] So… and there’s other things too. I just feel like I’m finding new things everyday that are benefiting him. He looks amazing, like he looks so much younger. He had big rings around his eyes that are gone. His face is glowing. He does a lot of work with his hands, he does physical work so his nails were cracking and they were cracking like right down below the whites, and now that’s gone like they’re fine. They’re perfect now.

>> Wow. So and this has only been like, 30 days that he’s on the products? That’s amazing, and so what about you? Now did you start the products as well?

>> I’m nursing because I have a 3 month old, and so I was a bit nervous in taking the cleanse. But I have, in the last 3 days, started taking the shakes.

>> Ah, nice. That is awesome. Well Kiersty, I knew we could get a new body and a new business and everything, I didn’t know we could get a new husband with Isagenix!

[ laughing ] So Allison has a great new website. What is your website Allison?

>> Get a new husband.com.

[ laughter ]

>> That’s great! Thank you so much, that’s awesome! But I know definitely my husband certainly got a new wife when we started on the program. Thank you Allison. And I have another very special person who I’ve known for quite a long time, and actually he was quite instrumental in me learning about this industry of network marketing. Through him I actually met some people and I worked corporately in management at health and wellness network marketing company. So I’ve known this gentleman for a while. He has been in the industry Kiersty, for 30 years, and he has received at least 1 check per week for the last 12 and a half years, every week. And now he actually gets a couple of checks, because he stills gets checks from his last company and from Isagenix. So it’s a beautiful thing. He was a scientist and a teacher prior to his network marketing career, and he’s a public speaker, spoken to crowds of up to 3,000. And he’s shared the stage with Dr. Dennis Waitley, Robert Allen, T. Harrecker, and our very own David Wood. He’s the proud father of a 16 year old son David, and has been the glorious goddess Shiloh, and I’d like to introduce one star silver star, one star silver circle… God you guys made these names hard to say! Mr. James Downey. James, are you with us? Are you on mute?

>> Hello, hello? Alright. He might be on mute or the other line. So when he joins us he can tell us a little bit about what makes Isagenix unique. So I’ll introduce our next guest, and this is someone  Kjersti I think you had the pleasure of meeting. This gentleman’s an adventurer with over 2,000 skydives and 250 base jumps behind him already, and he’s just a young one still. He loves to find energy in fear, and harness it for success, and he’s done some incredible training calls around that. He is the creator of the Isa-Adventure Team, and this is incredible - right after top achievers, he basically went crystal executive in 4 days. His passion about Isagenix and all the people he comes into contact with, and he’s been married to Jill for 7 years and has 2 wonderful kids ages 5 and 3. So Mr. chief adventure officer, Kenyon Salo, are you with us?

>> Stephanie, you are my hero! That was a great introduction.

>> Hi Kenyon!

>> Hi Stephanie, hi Kiersty.

>> Hello Kenyon.

>> So… go ahead Stephanie.

>> Yes, Kenyon what I didn’t mention about Kenyon is he’s brand new to network marketing, and he’s such an inspiration to me because what he’s doing and the speed that he’s doing it at is just… it makes my head spin on some days. So I would just love to hear Kenyon, what attracted you to this wonderful company and to this industry, and what’s happening?

>> Well one day when I was working at the skydive drop zone, I was connecting with a person about adventure coaching, which is something that I love to do. And this person’s girlfriend overheard me and she basically chased me down and said, I need your card. And as we spoke more, she just went along and said that there’s this great company and I need to find it, then you know the part of the story where she introduced me to you and you felt this energy, and at which point I was then introduced to some of the wonderful people within Isagenix; the co-founders Jim and Cathy Coover, but also David Wood which is where I really resonated with because I absolutely love to do coaching and training through my mediums of adventure. At which point I was invited to celebration and never done network marketing before. I didn’t even know what it was. I didn’t even really know what Isagenix was when I went to their celebration, but I went on trust. I went on this belief that somebody saw something in me, and that I should be there.

And so I got to celebration, and I’m wow! 6,000 people there, lots of energy happening, people on stage making money, people on stage losing weight, and people on stage just doing all kinds of things, amazing stories happening. And I was trying to figure out, well if this is what I’m supposed to do, there’s a reason I’m here. How am I going to do it? And how am I going to do it my way, or with my spin? And as I saw the athletes onstage, I said oh there’s some people that I really resonate with. But I could still tell there was something that just was missing, and that I realized. If I went inside myself and then I found what I absolutely loved to do, which was adventure - skydiving and base jumping and rock climbing and river running, and anything that challenged me on the risky level, I realized that this is where I needed to be. And so that was my angle, and I said I’m going to develop my business within Isagenix through adventures. But I still had to try the product, and I didn’t need to lose a lot of weight, but I found that it made me feel more focused.

I had more energy, I went from sleeping 8 hours to 6 hours, and I realized getting up at 4 in the morning… well what was I gonna do? I guess I’m gonna go to the gym. So I go to the gym and I come back again, and people still asleep in my house, and well I guess I’ll start doing some work and I was getting an amazing amount of stuff done, but some of the other things I was able to do was start planning some of my additional adventures, and that really sparked me to start taking off into high gear. And I’ve just found amazing success within Isagenix, to be able to utilize the money that I’m making week after week after week, to fuel the pot to pay for my gear, to pay for my adventures and my travel and my trips. And the whole time I’m getting to train around adventures, and help others within Isagenix through the understanding of using harnessing as a tool to harness fear for success. So it’s just been a brilliant ride.

>> Wow!

[ laughing ] Go ahead. Stephanie did you want to comment? I mean, I was just gonna say to Kenyon, your passion and your energy is just completely contagious and I can totally resonate with your story because prior to Isagenix, I had no network marketing experience at all whatsoever. And although I did know of the industry, but unfortunately what I thought the industry was wasn’t what it was at all. I had been… kind of I had this whole thought process in my mind that network marketing was kind of a black list, that it was something that really wasn’t legit and boy was I mistaken. I was just informed incorrectly, and it has been such a gift to not only me, but everybody. And so it’s amazing to me to hear your story, and to have experienced the annual celebration as your very first event. Oh my word! I mean, what an amazing event that is. And… amazing success you’ve had so far, so congratulations.

>> Thank you so much Kiersty. What I realized through all of this is it’s just so much fun! I love being around all the people, and the fun is what makes it worth it day in and day out. So it’s just wonderful.

>> Absolutely.

>> Isn’t that interesting what you said Kiersty, the whole preconceived notion. I for some reason thought that network marketing was for people who couldn’t get a real job.

>> Mmmm, I’ve heard that one before. Absolutely.

>> It was kind of a last resort, and I am so lucky that I really got to be a student of the industry by working inside of a corporation, not as an associate, and having my eyes opened. I mean, from working in film I understood the concept of residual income, recurring income. But I also realized I wasn’t gonna write a feature film or anything. I wasn’t a writer, and I didn’t own a property that I could develop to get a residual income, so I didn’t… and my singing really sucks, so I did not go… what I consider myself to be just an average Joe, could participate in this beautiful thing called residual income. And I think that somebody… for anyone who has not experienced it, whether it’s 50 dollars a week, or 50 dollars a month, when it’s recurring income and it’s coming consistently, that is a huge asset.

>> Absolutely. You know it’s so amazing to me. Now Stephanie, were you able to get James on the line? Is James with us?

>> Can you hear me now?

>> There you are!

>> Hey!

>> Our time is running short. I just want to let you know James, we’ve got about 2 to 3 minutes but we’re dying to hear his story. Go ahead and take it away.

>> Well actually Stephanie that was a great segway about residual income. As you said, I joined this industry 30 years ago obviously when I was just a babe. And I… what I received in the last 13 years is a check every week, and some of that work I did I did when I first found a company that was really a quality company in this industry, and to see work that I did that long ago still pay me every week is amazing. But what’s even more amazing was that you were brave enough to talk to somebody who was top income earner with another company, and talk about this cleanse product. And you know what? I took the cleanse product because I was on my way to Mexico for 3 weeks, and I wanted to look good on the beach, which I did but of course being in that work market, or I joined with the president’s pack and by the time I got back from holidays I had a whole crew of people onboard. I’d earned more money than I’d put in to start with, and the company’s so cool, they run these contests all the time and I won a whole house air ionizer.

What I love about Isagenix compared to any other company I’ve been with in the 30 years, is that you use the product you become a walking billboard. And people engage you in conversation, and I think what I learned over the years was that the toughest thing to do with other products is let people know that you actually are on a product that’s good. But with Isagenix you take the product, you look good, you feel good, people ask you and it’s so much easier just to answer questions than to start the conversation yourself. So no wonder why Isagenix is growing faster than any other company I’ve ever seen in this industry.

>> Wow. That is true, and that was one of my criteria when I was evaluating companies, is I wanted something that had noticeable results so I wasn’t constantly having to convince people ‘trust me, keep taking these vitamins because they are protecting you’. ‘Yes and they are better than those ones, and yes you really need them, and this…’ With Isagenix it’s within what… 80 percent of the people within 3 to 5 days have results that other people can notice, and that they themselves feel. That is so powerful! No on else has that.

>> And not only is a powerful step, but it speeds up the cycle because if you’re introducing somebody to a product and takes them 3 to 6 months before they have a result, then they don’t want to talk to anybody until they’ve had a result. I wait 3 to 5 days.

>> Love it, wow. What amazing guests! Thank you so much Stephanie, for being on tonight. And James and Kenyon and Allison, your stories are fantastic. We appreciate all of you, and you know James, I love… first of all Stephanie I have to give you credit for choosing guests for people that… I mean, Allison is just getting started with her sweet husband, a month into this. Kenyon has been in this for just a little while, he’s never done that work marketing. And then you have a seasoned networker like James, who has really seen a copter vision of Isagenix and is completely onboard and having a ball doing it. So it’s amazing to me to see that there’s certainly no discrimination on who gets to do this business, whether you’re young or you’re a little bit more seasoned with your experience, it doesn’t really matter. That’s what makes Isagenix so grand. So again, thank you you guys for coming on to tonight and sharing your stories. We appreciate you all.
