>> Good evening everyone and welcome to our Tuesday night corporate update with Isagenix. My name is Kjersti Cote Norhousden. I apologize for the sound of my voice, I woke up this morning and this is what I got. I feel great, so I’m here sitting on a little bit of tea to help it a little bit. But we are grateful that all of you could be with us tonight. We have a lot of exciting information to cover. And, of course, with us tonight is none other than Frank Felker and Rick Despain. And what I’d like to do is introduce the both of these wonderful gentlemen and then I’ll turn the time over the Rick to kick off the call because I know he has got some things he wants to share first off.

So, I’d like to introduce Rick. Rick Despain is our Vice President of Field Relations. He’s been with Isagenix since 2004 and is a part of our corporate team. He was hugely instrumental in helping to develop our compliance department and our marketing department, which has grown substantially. And I really enjoy Rick, he’s a wonderful friend, of course, a wonderful man full of integrity. He comes to Isagenix with a tremendous amount of experience when it comes to strategic marketing, communication, direct sales and, of course, this industry network marketing. He travels all over the place throughout North America helping to train the field, all of you, and putting on amazing events to really build and drive Isagenix in your area. So we are grateful to you, Rick, and all that you do.

Next, I would like to introduce Frank Felker. He’s our Director of Field Communications. He’s brand to new to our Isagenix corporate team. He actually joined Isagenix last August and he was personally recruited to our corporate team by Jim and Kathy Coover. He brings to the table over thirty years of experience when it comes to helping businesses increase their sales and helping them connect and share their greatness of their products and their services. He’s been working on a huge number of products and, excuse me, projects, and he is actually responsible for leading and guiding the team that helped to create the Isagenix podcasting. That was one of his latest projects. So it’s very exciting to have Rick and Frank on the call with us tonight. So with that, good evening to the both of you and welcome to the call.

>> Thank Kjersti. Hello, everyone, this is Rick Despain and I applaud you for being on this call tonight, investing time and learning more about Isagenix and the wonderful products, the amazing products that we have. I just listened to the real results in a real people call with Ben and Ester Sanderlin and Rick and Paris Kinman and, wow, I always love hearing these people because of their leadership up in Alaska. So kudos to the Kinmans and the Sanderlins and what you have been able to do up in Alaska and, of course, I’ve been able to travel to Alaska twice and see them firsthand. So, congratulations.

Again, I just got off a week long trip to the East Coast starting in Denver. I went to Denver then I went to an emerging area of Hilton Head, South Carolina. That’s the first time I have done a meeting there. And it’s exciting to see our new leaders that are emerging in that area. Then I went to Raleigh, North Carolina, and then went to Philadelphia. Of course, that’s where Jimmy Smith is, our number one earner in the company, and he and his family, Kathy and Tom, where there.

And then it was off to Montreal up in Canada, the last leg of the spring tour in Canada. And Montreal, you know, we had over a hundred people at that meeting, it was just exciting to be with them and, of course, our leaders, Carol Taylor and Peter Alman and Terry Tercart and others that where there. So I’m back, recharged, seeing that our company and the East Coast is doing so well, plus we had a nice Isagenix University on the East Coast in the New York, New Jersey area with over 340 people there. Of course, Jim and Kathy went to that meeting.

So it’s exciting to see the growth on the East Coast. And tonight we have announcements for you and I want to extend a warm welcome to our first time associates, our new people that are on this call for the first time. Welcome and I applaud you. It’s always nice to be with Frank on the call too, because he’s covers these calls when I’m on the road and when Kathy Coover and Jim Coover are out on the road. >> Thank you, Rick, and good evening to you. Good evening, Kjersti, and good evening everyone. You are absolutely right, Rick, excuse me, I’m just finishing my shake for dinner. I’m doing the Isa body challenge. So I have a little frog in my throat there. In any event, I want to welcome everybody to the call tonight and let you know that the next Isagenix University is coming up in Phoenix, May 29 31, that’s only about a month away. They always do sell out very quickly so you need to go in your back office or call customer care or call headquarters and speak to the folks in the events department and get your tickets lined up. It’s normally only $199 per person, and that really includes a lot.

It’s three days, Friday through Sunday, there’s some food thrown in there and lots and lots of educational opportunities. Jim and Kathy Coover are both going to be there. Always with a lot of our top field leaders and income earners and there will just be all of our best trainers there and, Rick and Kjersti, I’m sure that you both agree that ICU is just always a really exciting event in that often times in addition to the education and the motivation that you get from attending that just being around all of the other people in the Isagenix family can just be so inspiring.

>> Oh, no doubt. The Isagenix University, all of the ones that I have attended and I have attended them now for almost five years, this is what has built this company with the education, the information and rubbing shoulders with the top leaders. I mean, new people come to Isagenix University and it’s kind of like the lights turn on and they get it. They go back home and they know what to do about their business.

>> It is true that we found that probably the single biggest driver of people being able to build their business quickly is attending and even producing events of their on. Certainly we would not expect people to do a lot of events of 340 people like the East Coast team did, but that was really something. Even producing home presentations can have an amazing effect on your business. In fact, not too long ago, maybe a month or so ago we had Cindy Hugely on and she has grown her business to amazing levels and she does it all through home presentations.

The next thing we would like to talk about tonight is the new rank advancements for this week; the week of April 13th through the 19th is what we are looking at. First is Chaning Bolic who is a chiropractor, a doctor of chiropractic in Florida, achieved the rank of two star silver circle. And then we have Amanda Robinson in California who also achieved the rank of two star silver circle. And for that week there was an amazing 251 new consultants, six new star consultants and eight new one star silver circles, and it’s just amazing. I also remember Rick, I heard Kathy say on the leadership call last week that right now we are running over 600 new associates a day in terms of new enrollment. So, the company is just continuing to grow and sky rocket.

Now, a big promotion that we have going on is the president’s stimulus plan. Jim Coover put this together. There’s where you can earn $250 by sponsoring five consultants. So basically what you want them to do is to show them the power of two. You sponsor them and get them to be a consultant, which means they personally enroll one active associate on the left and the right hand, and then once they are all a consultant and they have all cycled one time you get your $250. So, in fact, just this last week we had one, two, three, four, five, six people win or earn $250 through the president’s stimulus plan. That’s Sherry Kaplin, Warren and Becky Anderson, Karen Cavanaugh, Rick and Paris Kinam, Daniel Lundie, and Christina Walker. So congratulations to all of you guys.

>> That’s exciting. There go Rick and Paris again up from Alaska.

>> Exactly.

>> And so congratulations to everyone who is taking advantage of that president’s stimulus plan or package from President Coover. That’s a lot of fun. Well, one of the great ways to built your business, and we have a special person on the call tonight that I’d like to interview and kind of set this up as we go around and do the events, the spring tour up in Canada and also across the United States have been phenomenal, there’s a lot of effort going into this and a lot of leaders are stepping up and helping us build. And one of the big next meetings with Kathy Coover is up in Seattle. It will be Saturday, May 2nd, so that’s this weekend. It will be in the Hilton, at the Bellevue Washington, And one of the people that are planning on going over there all the way from Coeur d’Alene are two star golden circle crystal executives, Scott and Gina Multz.

Now they reside, like a mentioned in Coeur d’Alene, but they have the most associates from their area attending the Washington event. And they are driving all of the way from Coeur d’Alene Idaho over to Washington to do that. We wanted to highlight them and congratulate them and also hear from them about how then are building everything. Just a couple more things about them, Scott and Gina have been married 23 years and they have raised three sons with one daughter still at home. And Scott spent twelve years in the car industry and then was the salesman of the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, earning a six figure income. And additionally he was the manager of a Cadillac dealership taking them from number seven to three out of seventy six dealers in the western region to number three in three years. So he knows what he is doing.

He owned his own dealership, which he left to pursue real estate and now they doing Isagenix. And Gina area has worked from home for over twenty years trading her own crafterly businesses. She ran multiple websites and shipped internationally and as a professional crafter her scrapbook work has been published in magazines. I remember first meeting Scott and Gina Multz when we won the contest and went down to the Bahamas, it was our adventures in paradise content when we were at the Sandals in the Bahamas. You know, it was just relaxing and rubbing shoulders with leaders as they first came into the company. I had the personal opportunity to meet with them and rub shoulders and they are excellent. So I heard they were on the call. Scott and Gina, you are there? I heard them when they came on the call. They might be muting out. >> Okay, I’m off mute. I’d like wrap up this call just mentioning them, people like Scott and Gina, even though it was unfortunate we are not able to hear from them tonight, the reason why they are growing and they are a two star golden circle and continuing to grow is because they build to events. Like I mentioned, they are taking the most amount of people, the largest group of people Coeur d’Alene all the way over to Seattle, Washington, for this event. That’s how you build teams and that’s how you get them turned on and help them to get trained. Again, Jim and Kathy Coover    not Jim, but Kathy Coover will be in Seattle and the other leaders there.

>> You know, I did call in on the special line with the pin, but when we muted it wouldn’t let us back in.

>> We are here. We are here.

>> Okay. I’m glad you are on the call. I know we have a lot of trainers that will be at the Seattle meeting and we will have Joanie Brewer who is a six star golden circle, she’s a star executive and she’s also an Isagenix millionaire and a one hundred pound club member. We will have her on and Ron Reed and Luna Pang then are Isagenix millionaires and six star golden circle. Bob Krishetal a five star. Bonny Richards a three star. Debra Ewing, oh, she’s been in the company for so long and has such a wonderful experience with the products. And Debra Kirk, Irene Smith, Debra Jones, Carrie Stone is a great singer, and Lisa Vandrsek and Joanna Beard [assumed spellings], all these people will be our trainers and you are going there with a huge team, that’s what we want to hear about is how did you accomplish that and going with this big team and how are you growing in the Coeur d’Alene area.

>> Oh, my gosh, we are going super charged on Isagenix. You know it was kind of a fluke, I’m usually on the back office all of the time and really keep up to date onto events and were so busy going on the cruise and getting our son married off and we really didn’t know about it. And Joanie came over and did a presentation and she just said, hey, you know this is coming up and we all kind looked at each other and went, huh? And we put this together in very little time. I mean, we had people that just decided to go today. So, you know, never ever think it’s, you know, too short of notice because it’s not. But our people here, we are used to events.

We get together twice a month for a business meeting. We have home presentations almost every single week, sometimes more than once a week. So we are building on events. A lot of these people have been to ICU and then a lot of our people are brand brand new and have never been to an event at all. But oh, my gosh, when you can go to an event for $25 and drive there in a day, it was a long drive, but we have a caravan where a whole bunch of us are leaving here on Friday morning and coming home Saturday night and Sunday night. So we are excited.

>> You are going to have a lot of fun and I can remember when you came with your team to the Spokane event. I was there earlier in the year. Let me ask you a question, you know, you have been in the company long enough now and I would like to go and just let you rehearse with us how you went from being a new associate to a leader who is willing to put on your own events and get your team to events. I mean, there’s something that changed in your mind about, you know, just using the products and, you know, using Isagenix and having that wonderful result with the product and now become a leader and building a business, even during a down economy here in the United States. What turned it around for you? What made you into a leader and to lead your team going to these events?

>> Oh, boy, you know, in the very beginning, for us, I signed up first and got involved in it but Carol Waldenburg and Joanie Brewer offered to come and do a home presentation at our house. Once I was having my own result and we did that and, you know, for us, even back then, it was a Friday night in July and gorgeous outside. Our summers in Coeur d’Alene are very short and yet eleven people came to that event when they could have been out on the lake. And so that said something to me. You know, they saw my results, they wanted to know. And so from the very beginning we have had home presentations pretty often. And then getting your people joining right away, it took Scott kind of in a corner, kind of cornered him and told him you get your life to celebration. You need to go. She already said she would go, but you need take her. And at that time we really didn’t really know anything about network marketing, we didn’t know a lot of Isagenix except the product had worked for me and we were excited about that. So Scott just kind of said, okay, which it’s just not like us to make a snap decision like that. We had to assign child care and all that kind of thing.

We went, we had a blast, we got to meet Jim and Kathy Coover, got to see and look at them in the eyes and their integrity was just phenomenal. So, you know, ever since that we just really promoted to our people, you have got to get to these events because until you do, you know, you might just sell the product, there might be certain things that you really love, but when you get to an event you really get it on a big level. So start with your local home presentations, get together with your teams and have meetings with your leaders and then get on the road. If you have a super Saturday within a day’s driving distance, absolutely get there. And then going down to ICU, I mean, there’s not an event that we haven’t been too. Scott is going to go down to ICU in May, and oh, my gosh, the trips. If you can get on a trip, definitely definitely go on a trip.

>> Well, they need to do it your way; they need to win the contest, right?

>> You need to win it and if you don’t win you it still go.

>> You still go.

>> Oh, Scott, you are there. Great.

>> I’m here.

>> I don’t let him talk much.

>> You asked about, you know, building in a down economy. Well, we have totally made the transition, the shift, to leading with the business and I think that really important for people to know that right now. Because people are hurting financially, probably worse than they are hurting physically right now, if that’s possible. But we are really helping a lot of people to earn that extra income that we have lost either by losing a job or getting their hours cut back. So we have adopting Dan Mays and Becky and [inaudible] business plan, which is amazing. And we lead with the business and we help people earn an extra income.

>> And that’s working for you tremendously right now. That’s good. That’s good news. That’s one of the things we are teaching and as I go on the road, and as Kathy is on the road to events, we are teaching our people, our associates, that this recession, this down economy is actually the best thing that can happen to us because we are up thirty percent. You know, last year the Isagenix grew by almost 60 million, even in a down economy. And Jim Coover says, you know, we just choose not to participate in this recession. We are going forward. And you are right; people are looking for solutions right now. They are looking for leadership and they were looking for people who have answers and right now the wellness industry and also network marketing is up. Wellness industry is up about ten percent and network marking is up about twenty two percent, so together we are the only two industries that are actually growing. All the other industries are pretty well tanking. So when you lead with the income opportunity you are actually creating a way for solutions for people who are looking for extra income. Is that what you have seen?

>> Yeah and we are also helping our kids to build their businesses. And my one son, he’s been doing the product for a couple of years now and he has a full time job and he wants to earn extra income through Isagenix and I told him you need to talk to your people you work with. Finally he took me up on that and he called me up excited last week and said, hey, dad, I talked to three people at my work and they are all open. He said one of them was already talking; the wife was already talking about getting into a different company and the other one a different company. And I said so what you are telling me is that two out of the three people you talked to already open, but they already talking to someone else. He said, yeah. I said, well, that should tell you something, if you don’t talk to them somebody else will. So he’s out talking to everybody he works with now and he’s already signed up two people and he’s working on more just in the last week. So he’s doing really well. Actually those two people that were going to sign up with other companies are signing up with him, so that’s good.

>> Whoever educates first and completely wins the day, right?

>> Exactly.

>> Well, I have one more question for you before we wrap up the call. Tell me a little bit about how you got this large group of people heading over to Seattle with you. How did you do that? What did you say to them? I’m sure that has a lot to do with your own leadership style, but, you know, what were some of the things that you did so our listeners on this call can duplicate what you are doing to help their teams.

>> Well, you know, again it came from Joanie’s energy when she was here. We don’t get to see Joanie Brewer very often, so when she comes it’s a big deal. And she mentioned that, hey, this is a fun event and we jumped on that and said, you know what, we have been over there before. We dropped some of the names of some of the people that were going to be there and train. But I’ll tell you what, a big deal, when you can drive to an event in a day and you are not having to get on an airplane, which I would actually love to go to Arizona right now, it’s only 46 degrees in Idaho, um, it’s very close to just jump in the car and drive over there. And, you know what? When we say we are going, you know, we would love all of guys to go too, we are going, come with us. We are going on a road trip; we are going on an Isa road trip. It’s just so much fun. We have the funnest people in our team. We have traveled with some of them before, they are just a blast. I’m really really excited. And I’m so excited that some of our brand new people, our very brand new people, some of them we haven’t even met. We have a guy coming for Oregon that we have not even met yet, so just a lot of fun. Just put it out there. Tell them you are going and come along.

>> I think you just have to just tell them, until you get to an event you are not going to have the belief in the company that you will have after you have been to an event. And Jay Bennett, you know, he said it right, build your business on getting from one event to the next event to the next event. And that’s really important and I think that we started out kind of slow in that actually and now that we have started adopting that philosophy our business it really growing.

>> Well, that’s excellent. I congratulate you again. I applaud you for your leadership. I’m sure your leadership and your commitment is partly what made this happen along with the enthusiasm of encouragement of Joanie Brewer who is such an incredible leader. So thanks again for being on the call, Scott and Gina. We appreciate your leadership and just keep rocking up in the Coeur d’Alene area, the Spokane area. And I guess Isagenix will see you over in the Seattle meeting this Saturday.

>> Hey, thank you. And this has been a great call. Your call to action is to get out to as many event as possible, especially the ones that are within a day’s drive. And as we are wrapping up this spring tour, you know, Kathy Coover will be in Seattle. I will be in Oakland in May. And May 16th there’s also a meeting in Newport Beach, Los Angeles, yeah, Los Angeles area on the 9th with Jay Bennett. And we will continue to have the spring tour go. So get out of the events. Also hold the events yourself like Frank had mentioned on other calls. You know we have the meeting in the box and we have a contest right now to go out and do your own events, and if anything more than go have a home presentation.

Influence as many lives as possible because you know something, when you are an Isagenix associate you know something that ninety percent of the people out there do not know. And that is you know the secret to how people can lose weight with nutritional cleansing that beats the traditional dieting hands down. And you also have the key to how to create another stream of income, even in a down economy, with the product that you can wear the results within your first week, in just a few days where no other company or product can do that. I have been in an industry for eighteen years and I have not seen it, but, man, have I seen it here with Isagenix. So with that, take advantage of it and notify your friends and neighbors and family members that you know something that ninety percent of the people don’t know, would they be open to learning about it. And so with that I’ll turn the time over to Kjersti Cote to talk over the conference calls this week.

>> Wow. Well, thank you so much, Rick and Frank. And, Scott and Gina, great great story. Great having you on as well. We have some very exciting calls in store for all of you this week. It’s going to be a lot of fun, all of our Tuesday night corporate update calls happen at this same time every Tuesday night. Every Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. Pacific we do product trainings and every Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Pacific time we do Saturday business trainings. And the guests vary, the topics vary and they are really designed to educate all of you as you are building your business so that you can adopt tips for success. I mean Scott and Gina just shared a lot. It’s stuff like that you are going to be getting from that business training on Saturday.

And so this coming Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Pacific we have Dr. Dennis Harper. He is a chairman of our scientific advisory board. He’s an amazing man. He’s incredibility intelligent. When he discovered Isagenix, a little bit about his story, he was a hard core skeptic and he said no, no, no, no for a very long time. And finally after his brother pestered him enough he went on a nine day cleanse and not only did he go on this nine day cleanse, but he actually like completely tested himself out, you know, because being a doctor, you know, did all of this testing on himself to prove that the system was not going to work and so that his brother would leave him alone. Well, what ended up happening was absolutely amazing and in that nine day period of time his body totally transformed and he got excited and started telling his patients about Isagenix. So on this Thursday’s training he’s going to be talking about how to maximize your success with your Isagenix programs. So it doesn’t matter if it’s nine day, thirty day, athletic    the athlete pack, any of the packs that you are doing right now, he’s going to really give you a lot of tips on how to use those products within those packs so that you maximize your results. Because if you can teach your people that are cleansing and using Isagenix for the very first time, some of these amazing tips that Dr. Harper will share, it will just bring their results even that much more and it will even excite them that much more to move forward, of course, with taking care of their self and sharing this and starting a business for themself.

Then, of course, this coming Saturday, 9:00 a.m. Pacific, is the Saturday business training. We have the beautiful Ellen Bradley Gannis. I don’t know if you all know this, but she’s a major Hollywood superstar. We are so grateful to have her in our family. And what’s cool is you would never know it. Meeting her and getting to know her, she’s so down to earth, she’s a sweetheart, constantly has a smile on her face. She’s going to be talking about why network marketing, why Isagenix. And I don’t know, I think it was Scott, you were telling us about your son, you know, running into people at work and other people hearing about other network marketing companies. So why would people want to join Isagenix right now and why would they want to take advantage of network marketing right now? So tune in for that great call. Kjersti Coté (pronounced KEER-stee KOH-tee) is the daughter of Isagenix Founder and Master Formulator, John Anderson. She has been an Isagenix member since the company began in March 2002.

In addition to coordinating and hosting our weekly conference calls, Kjersti is an author and wellness & cleansing coach, and works extensively with the Scientific Advisory Board as well as many of the top leaders in the field.

Kjersti resides in Northwest Montana with her husband Jeff and their 3 beautiful children, Alexa, Tyler and Zachary.
